It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Is it just for me that Guardiola doesnt have his face on the game? I tried updating with the new 2026.01 file and replace the config file but its still missing after restarting the game. I checked and the image is in the folders like the others

Definitely in there, load it up in 7zip or whatever and sort the column by size and you will see it as it's the biggest file there.

Nothing related to graphics needs a new game no, just extract the new pack into the same folder as the previous and replace everything when asked and you're good to go.

Do you see a blank face, or the default silhouette? Which version of the megapack did you download? Can you give me screenshots of what your faces folder looks like?
Adding graphics is save-game compatible. To install update packs, watch this YouTube tutorial video, which should you guide you on the steps you need to follow to install it. It might be for FM24, but the steps are exactly the same.
Here's an 11-year old post as to why it's not worth us doing that. The way that this pack works, if Player X has a licensed image in the game but isn't yet in our megapack, then his licensed image will display anyway.

I copied over my save from FM24 and the cut-out facepack from FM24 (which worked perfectly in FM24) but now in FM26 there's a small line in different sizes and color showing up over their heads. The size and color seem to have to do with the hair of the player and it's visible on every image in the megapack. Anyone else having the same issue? Any fix or should I report it to SI?

I copied the 26.00 megapack from my fm24 folder, which never gave me issues on fm24. Not sure why its still not working. Never made any changes to config files. Its just the default black silhoutte instead of the cut-out

I downloaded the megapack not the individual update files so 'm not sure what the issue is. I just have the faces in my faces folder thats in graphics from the main fm folder.

Sorry, I'm trying to figure out how to check the search options but when I search anything it says no search items match my search even though I know the file is 100% in the folder.

Some of them show tbf, I recognise some of the faces from when I had them on FM24 but I was noticing there were loads of faces that werent there.
I used a new Logo pack (FMG standard) and that was fine but the faces are acting up for me.
I'm not sure if its because I copied the files over from FM 24 and I shouldve just downloaded them again because I still have the RAR file.
The faces that dont show up have the default black player silhoutte.

If they worked in FM24, then they should work in FM26. How many images do you have in your faces folder? Do you have a file named config.xml in there? Do you have any other facepacks?

No other face packs, I've been using only the cut-out faces since fm24 and I have 501,690 files in there along with that config.xml file

Nothing's coming up, it just gives me this message when I try to search and this time I'm in fm 26 folder. I know mbappes face is there though but the search gives no result.
I don't know why it's not working, this has never been an issue for me before. Could it be an issue in my actual FM settings? I haven't really changed much in it, haven't played even 20 minutes of the new game cause I don't like playing without the logos, faces etc

I've been looking at the forum and I seen that I should delete the icon faces now that they're not needed anymore so maybe that's why my faces weren't showing. I'm deleting them now. I'll let you know how it goes when it's only the big faces in the folder

Yeah I've done that and its not working. Could the issue be that I don't have the real name fix? I've had it on fm 24 but I've seen talk of faces ot working without the real name fix

Then I'm not sure what the issue is. I think I'll delete the extracted faces and extract them again. Hopefully that helps me. I'm not he most tech savvy but I've been playing FM since 2017 and I've never had this issue once before
