You need to copy and overwrite the faces and the new config file from the update pack into the faces folder.

It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

to put a yellow folder in it to keep the config seperate from the config of the megapack?

At the end I was able to download the file in the slow mode from Sourtitoutsi , but in all the 2 links for download it in the old style don't start automatically , it open only or for download Opera or open a dangerous web pages but don't download nothing in the 2 case

Wondering if anyone can give us a few pointers with cut-outs. I've done a set for a few liverpool youth players but on almost all of them there is this weird white line that appears above the head when in-game but doesnt appear when in photoshop etc. Anyone else experienced this and if so have an answer to what i'm doing wrong?

Hi everyone,
I need some help with the Sortitoutsi facepack.
When I first installed it, everything worked perfectly. But after a few days, almost all faces disappeared in-game. For example, Pep Guardiola is now missing a picture, even though I’m 100% sure it’s included in the pack.
Does anyone know what might be causing this or how to fix it?
P.S. I tried searching for similar threads but couldn’t find any. Apologies if this has already been discussed.

Have downloaded the megapack 2026. Trying to extract it using unarchiver on Mac and I keep getting a pop up that it cannot be verified that the .rar file is free from malware and therefore it won't let me extract? Anyone else experienced this or got a way to work around? Thanks.

After renaming the file, how do I generate the config file if I create a large number of new avatars? FMXML only works for filenames with purely numeric IDs.
I can only rename all filenames back to pure numeric IDs, then use FMXML to generate a config file, then rename all files back to "face_" format, then open the config file and batch replace and modify them to "face_" format?

This megapack has well over half a million images, so it's definitely not the case the no young wonderkids have got cuts. Which wonderkids are you talking about specifically?

I wanted to add the new wonderkids faces, and in the guide it tells me I have to paste all the images + the config file to the graphics > faces folder, I did and overwrite config file and the faces from the megapack doesn't show up anymore. What I'm doing wrong?

Same problem here. Tried downloading the complete pack again, but it still did not work. Also tried to remove the iconfaces and only leave the faces, but still no success .

The new update 2026.01 again uses filenames without "face". Therefore, the config no longer works.
