It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I spent the £10.00 to get the fast download of the facepack. I followed all the really simple instructions but the faces are not showing in the game. Can somone help please??? It looks like a lot of people are having this issue.

Hi, I'm not sure why this is not working for me. I have downloaded the main file, extracted it all have over 500k faces stored in the folder. I have moved both “faces” and “icon faces” into my graphics folder yet still is not pulling through faces (Mbappe is my measure as this seems to be the one player absent and who becomes present after the update). Please can anyone help? Here is what my folders look like:

Sorry if this has previously been asked and answered, but I'm going back to FM24, from 26. I have all the recent updates released, but I'm wandering will the FM26 faces all work on FM24 or will I have to re-download the 1st FM24 megapack and all the updates, and then just stop at the 1st FM26 megapack?

I usually search his name but works from neither club page or national team. I did see the bug about national teams from the update. An example of that here

That photo is not from the megapack, however. This is the one in the pack. So it seems like the megapack is not being utilized at all.
Can you make a search in the graphics folder of 85139014 (the UID of Mbappe)?
Before you take a screenshot, can you sort the results in the manner outlined below?
This can be achieved by posting the UID in the red circle, choosing the view tab via the blue circle, the details option in the black circle and making sure the folder column in the green circle is long enough to display the full path.
When you run the search, can you change the below search options?
This will help me see if there is one or more other folders in your user data folder which contains one or more other facepacks, and where that image is coming from within your files…

is it worth deleting everything in my graphics folder and downloading from fresh? The FMG logos haven't worked either, I haven't played FM since 23 so this is all alien to me. It was a lot simpler on older versions of the game

Instead of deleting them, can you put all of them somewhere else outside of the SI folder temporarily? All of them apart from the faces folder.

But I just dragged the 2 sub folders within that into my graphics rather than that folder too:

My game keep crashing because of the facepack, I tried to change my resolution to 1080p, my laptop cant handle it?
It even freezes then shut down by itself. Any idea how to solve the problem?
Like if I'm lucky I can play the game for hours, now for 3 times in a row, it crashed and turned off my laptop.

Hey there!
First of all, I apologise if this has been asked before, but I haven't been able to find the answer yet.
My problem is that every time I install an update pack and replace all the existing files in my 'faces' and 'iconfaces' folders with the new ones, it also replaces the config.xml file (as intended, I think), meaning that the face pack only works for the new images from the update pack. I then have to use fmXML to create a whole new config.xml file for the faces and icon faces folders. Am I doing everything correctly, or is this the intended way of doing things?

The config file is for the entire megapack, and not just the most recent update pack.
Here's the process on how to install update packs correctly. It might be for FM24 but it's the exact same.
