One of my favourite 30 for 30s, about Bo Jackson. I highly recommend it:

The best 30 for 30 is the one about all the things that happened on the day of O.J. Simpson's car-chase.

June 17th, it was okay as a documentary style, but nothing amazing.

And obviously, as a hockey fan I am biased in favour of King's Ransom.

I think the best ones are the ones that delve into topics that I would never normally gravitate to. The exploration of Red Sox 4-3 victory over the Yankees and the look into the creation of fantasy baseball are two great examples.

While I appreciate the mention, I'm sure my D in A-Level Law doesn't make me an expert. I think terriesmad guy actually has legal experience, but either way, look at your contract Deano, if there's something about notices you might have a case. If your boss owns the business and then is closing it down, surely he would need to do that properly before sacking everyone.

I know some employment law, but I really wouldn't want to give any advice using it (I'm self-taught in that area, and I've never had to use it for anything other than exams). Were the area of law crime or civil litigation I'd happily offer advice, but in employment matters I'm just not qualified.

Deano, your best shot is to find somewhere that advises pro bono where you are. Citizens Advice Bureaux offer pro bono advice, but it might be limited in scope. I'd also suggest going to a local university to see if they have a student law office, but with it being the summer I'd have my doubts about whether they'd be able to handle new enquiries. It's also possible that local solicitors firms offer some kind of pro bono scheme. All I can say for certain is that if the worst came to pass you would have three months to take action otherwise any claim you might have would be out of time.

Situations like that are where unions actually become useful.

THIS. If only union bosses didn't piss it up with Marxist entryism in the 60s and 70s.

I am hoping it is more for a foreign model about helping in communities or as a mode of punishment but I am not sure due to the Tories being complete cunts.

Proponents of mandatory service generally argue that it helps prepare young people for adulthood, both by giving those who have never worked before work experience as well as by providing them with some potentially marketable skills.

It can also be argued to be an egalitarian measure as it would force people to spend significant time working with people from other class, ethnic, religious, educational and geographic backgrounds that they otherwise likely wouldn't have met, hopefully helping those from an underprivileged background improve their personal networks.

It's very early in the creation of a new bill. No-one has even had the chance to debate it yet.

In 2013 Hollobone was one of 4 MPs who camped outside Parliament in a move to facilitate parliamentary debate on what they called an “Alternative Queen’s Speech” -an attempt to show what a future Conservative government might deliver.[21] Some 42 policies were listed including reintroduction of the death penalty and conscription, privatizing the BBC, banning the burka in public places and preparation to leave the European Union.[21] The Daily Telegraph believes the whips sent Edward Leigh to try and persuade the group not to table the amendments.[21]

So he's a cuntbucket and it's never going to happen. Good to know.

Trying to do a new CV, how do I go about putting my past University on it if I left and never got any qualification despite completing the full course? (was probably the lowest point of my life, multiple deaths in the family over a short period of time and my ex trying to repeatedly kill herself, all while I was doing my exams. Feel like explaining myself is the only way I can put it on?)

Just put it on there. No-one is completely honest in their CV's anyway, if it comes up during your interview you already have your explanation.

Aye, I just don't like having to explain something that personal tbh I get awkward talking about it. (Even though I've just done it on the internet )

Played football at Loughborough Uni on Saturday. Got tanked 2nd half due to alot of players away and our best CB getting injured, but those facilities are incredible. Some Football League teams would be jealous of what they have.

Conscription is being discussed. Banning certain clothes in public areas is ongoing so don't rule out the burka and they are giving huge movements into leaving the EU. I see a reason to worry.
