While I appreciate the mention, I'm sure my D in A-Level Law doesn't make me an expert. I think terriesmad guy actually has legal experience, but either way, look at your contract Deano, if there's something about notices you might have a case. If your boss owns the business and then is closing it down, surely he would need to do that properly before sacking everyone.

I know some employment law, but I really wouldn't want to give any advice using it (I'm self-taught in that area, and I've never had to use it for anything other than exams). Were the area of law crime or civil litigation I'd happily offer advice, but in employment matters I'm just not qualified.

Deano, your best shot is to find somewhere that advises pro bono where you are. Citizens Advice Bureaux offer pro bono advice, but it might be limited in scope. I'd also suggest going to a local university to see if they have a student law office, but with it being the summer I'd have my doubts about whether they'd be able to handle new enquiries. It's also possible that local solicitors firms offer some kind of pro bono scheme. All I can say for certain is that if the worst came to pass you would have three months to take action otherwise any claim you might have would be out of time.

Proponents of mandatory service generally argue that it helps prepare young people for adulthood, both by giving those who have never worked before work experience as well as by providing them with some potentially marketable skills.

It can also be argued to be an egalitarian measure as it would force people to spend significant time working with people from other class, ethnic, religious, educational and geographic backgrounds that they otherwise likely wouldn't have met, hopefully helping those from an underprivileged background improve their personal networks.

Trying to do a new CV, how do I go about putting my past University on it if I left and never got any qualification despite completing the full course?

(was probably the lowest point of my life, multiple deaths in the family over a short period of time and my ex trying to repeatedly kill herself, all while I was doing my exams. Feel like explaining myself is the only way I can put it on?)

Played football at Loughborough Uni on Saturday. Got tanked 2nd half due to alot of players away and our best CB getting injured, but those facilities are incredible. Some Football League teams would be jealous of what they have.

Conscription is being discussed. Banning certain clothes in public areas is ongoing so don't rule out the burka and they are giving huge movements into leaving the EU. I see a reason to worry.
