For a third year running the beast that is the British Steel returns to the challenge section for all of you that want to challenge yourself within the British Isles.

So what is the challenge: You have to win every trophy from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland in any order you want. However you must only use British and Irish players!

With no on conquering this challenge over the last two years its proved to not be as easy as some people assume and we welcome every challenger to try and be the first!

The challenge is made a little easier by counting promotion from finishing second in the league, or via the playoffs as the title but this is your choice. Any success in Europe or with the national teams are just an added note on your history but won't count towards this challenge.

Below is a screenshot and I will add everyone who takes part to the challenge leaderboard and add your story so people can follow it easily. Once you've won a trophy be it league or cup, I will need to see a screenshot for it to count.

Rules:
  • Only use British and Irish players
  • Must start with Sunday League Reputation
  • You may start at a club or start unemployed, your choice
  • You MUST send me a screenshot of each trophy won for it to count
Below is the list of playable trophy's within the game when you load all the home nations.(Downloaded competitions and expansions are not allowed)

England
Fa Trophy, Blue Square North/South, Blue Square Premiership, Johnson's Paint trophy, nPower League Two, nPower League One, nPower Championship, League Cup, Community Shield, FA Cup, Premiership

Scotland

All the best to all the challengers....

I noticed the bolded part after going through your thread. I think that certainly lengthens the challenge, but in the end isn't really necessary in my eyes (and possibly Rick's when he made it) since it is the same cup won twice.

I didn't have to chase it thankfully. I won the cup with Linfield but chalked off a few others in the same season.

Well, I just had the shortest time spent at a team ever. Joined Queen of the South, but the very next day they signed another manager, effectively firing me. I'm speechless as to how and why that happened.

Took over Arsenal, had to dispose of 15 players, got $239M out of it. Now two seasons later, Man City's manager retires in April while they are in first place, and ask for me to sign on with them. They have 22 players that I can't play for the final 6 matches, and expect me to keep a six point lead. Oh my god, this sounds like a challenge they should put in this game!!

That all being said, I'm now forced with a dilemma here of sending all 22 non-GB or ROI players to the reserves, thus angering them, and hoping the rest of the legal players can hold out for the last six games, or take my Arsenal squad, who are only 10 points beck with 7 to play, and try to fight my way to the top.

Choices!

Just crossed over 30 trophies. Sitting in Northern Ireland, I have two left there (Premiership, Intermediate Cup) and 4 left in Scotland (SPL, Division 1, Scottish Cup, League Cup)

All of this down in 46 seasons, and I'm surprised it didn't take slightly longer.

Just have SPL and IFA Premiership left now, and they are so annoying because if you aren't Linfield, Celtic, Rangers, or Hearts in my game, you aren't getting these trophies. I'll keep pushing on.

And looking at yours, you are so close too, mate! Well, close to a technical victory, since I notice you are just counting league wins and not promotions. But it'll be a victory nonetheless for you if you get those last two you haven't touched. Good luck to you!
