I don't hate much, in sports or in real life. Hate is a wasted emotion that ends up doing nothing good for anybody involved. There are, however, a few teams that I wish zero success for - and Leeds is absolutely one of those teams. They personify everything to me that is wrong with the game - ugly play, a massive financial overreach, and the arrogance to believe that both of those things were and are acceptable. They may be running their club in a more fiscally responsible way now - I don't pay attention to them these days and thus have no idea - but the fact that they borrowed so heavily against a future that provided no guarantees, all the while playing a style of the game that would make your average prison basketball team blush, means that in my opinion, Leeds got and are getting what they deserve - lower division soccer.

The last part makes me laugh, under O'Leary we were lauded as one of the most free flowing attacking teams in the country. Granted we had Batty, Dacourt, Mills and Smith, but were they any worse than Arsenal's back four in the late 90's?

I agree, he is extremely wrong to call all our fans vile and comparing chants about him to racism? Fuck off.

But that doesn't excuse the cunt going on the pitch and it doesn't excuse the cunts who allowed him to come back in and blend. He'll get taken inside and he'll do time. It doesn't help that the stewards only corralled the pitch after the incident, they should know better.

Anyone singing about a football fan being murdered attending a football game is a complete cunt, I imagine it was from the reyht hard lads who sit in the North stand, who are fucking arseholes.

There was more than 1 idiot on the pitch too. They can't have much going for them in life if they invade the pitch after an equaliser by Michael Tonge in a game against Sheffield Wednesday.

His actions weren't part of some greater thought process, they were the actions of one man, one stupid little man whose head got the better of him. He will pay for what he's done and those who allowed him back into their ranks have questions to ask of their own moral compass.

As for Warnock, aside from the ton of bricks comment, which was extremely stupid to say, he said everything else right. It soured what would have been a great Yorkshire derby. Instead we're item four on the ITV evening news.

Well, I'm glad football's back, the international break was fucking dull.
