Halfway update
Impressed with how we started the season. Some tough games where we managed to come back to win (Vitesse, Ajax, Panathinaikos) Very impressed with our trio Depay, Traore and Jürgen Locadia

Struggling to understand why I have brought in three strikers ( James, Van der Stoep and Crysan) :lol: Ulvestad have been impressive since arriving (brought him asap instead of waiting til his contract runs out) Also pushed Maher out of the starting XI. James, could be on his way out after moaning about lack of games time ( currently got 7 goals in 10 in all competition) Genk offered 1.9M plus 20% for him which I accepted. I got few good youngsters in PSV B and played one of them against Ajax and set up Traore's goal.
Also signing Bryn van de Berg for 700K in January, turned out well on my other save with Excelsior. Luciano Narsingh will be leaving the club after agreeing to join Sassuolo for 2.5M, was also complaining about lack of game time.

Did try to offer him new contract at start of the season but agent said he's not interested cos doesn't think we can match his ambition.

Very happy with our January pre season, I arranged PSG and Universitario de Sucre, club arranged Stuttgart. Got 250K from PSG and 150K from Universitario. PSG was all over us with Pastore, getting them the lead on half time, brought on one of our youngster up front, which he got us the draw. We battered Stuttgart but yet come away with a goal. The trio completely destroyed Universitario. But after the match, Traore is out for 3-4 weeks
Another player leaves the club and that is Oscar Hiljemark, who departs to Shakhtar for 1.3M ( with add on makes it up to 2M)

Asked the board to expand the stadium, I was expecting them to say no but they accepted it.

End of the season update
We won the title when we drew 2-2 against Zwolle. Disappointed that we went from 13 points clear to 6. Massively disappointed with our defence against Everton, where we was winning and 3 mistakes from our defence gifted them 3 goals in last 20 minutes

Had to play de berg in goal in last 2 games after Zoet, injured himself in training and was ruled out for 2 months. Not surprised to see Depay finished as our top goal scorer
Next season
I think we'll be in for a busy summer with most of our players are wanted by top clubs. I will be looking to bring in defender, left back, right winger and striker.

Jesus Christ!!! I also negotiated next sale to 50% which they agreed to afterwards. Would be really silly to turn it down for him, after a epic season for us. Quite strange to see them offered that much when he got 27M release clause

Will be looking for defender now, decided not to renew Isimat-Mirin loan for another season. But renewed Rekik loan as well, his contract with Man City runs out end of the season so hopefully we can snap him up.
