My staff keep telling me to put my players on a ""training regime to work on his tactical role".
How do I go about this ?

Isn't that just the individual training section? You can focus on their position and the stats required for it or you can focus on an individual stat to bring it up to the level of the others.

Just use the little in-game guide.

Go to your home screen, click on advice from staff. There it should give you ideas also if you go into training in there is the option to select it that your assistant automatically gives your players training areas to concentrate on.......
