Neymar awakens passions wherever he goes and the Brazilian star was the main attraction this Monday during the presentation of his new boots ‘Ousadia Alegría’ by Nike. The footwear, designed especially by Carneiro Mosciaro, better known as Bruno Big, unite two concepts which define the Barça number 11.
The football boots are a representation of the Brazilian’s approach to life with ‘Alegría’ (happiness), associated with the joy that playing football brings the striker. ‘Ousadia’ (boldness) is something that Neymar himself characterises as “doing something different that people do not expect.”
The Barça star took advantage of the presentation of his boots from Nike to take part in a football tournament in the Raval area of Barcelona at the Institut Consell de Cent. Neymar took time to have his photograph taken with the children involved in the competition, accompanied by his countryman Bruno Big who took the opportunity to help create a special mural at the school’s football pitch.
Towards the end of the event, Neymar had some words of encouragement for the youngsters: “I recommend the boys and girls to be themselves, to look to their heroes to inspire them to do something.
“It’s very important to have dreams and to work and fight for what you want.”
To end proceedings, Neymar took part in a five a side game in which he delighted those present with his skills and ability. The applause and delight said all that was needed about the Brazilian’s ability to inspire passion both on and off the field.
