I'm currently on a tight budget because I'm only part time at work so I'll donate once I'm full time again.

As I said once I sort my shit out with work and that I'll donate a bit to the cause.
My misses seems to reckon doing the Ivanhoe way in a single day is a good idea for training for the 80 miler, This is a 37 mile trail around the towns and villages of North-West Leicestershire. Even though we're doing 80 miles in June 37 still sounds a lot for one day, at least the 80 is split over a few days.
The record time for the route is 9 and 1/4 hours.
On the plus side we don't have to go anywhere special to start as it passes through Donisthorpe where we live.

Of course, Pubs are the only businesses that do well in this nick of the woods. My village has no shops aside from four pubs and a hairdressers that is never open. (The hairdresser is obviously a cover for a meth lab)
I've just opened up the local newsletter and low and behold we are in it! They have gone to minimal effort, just rehashing my email to the asking for money but still, any publicity is good.

Breaking news...villager discovered with two Asian hookers and unconscious goat in pub toilet.
In other news; Gelert camping equipment has donated a bunch of equipment to us for the walk, waterproof clothing, rucksacks, fleeces, gloves, torches etc.
I would be truly devastated if anything kept me from doing the walk though, Kayla would have to do it alone as we've already been given so much money by people which I would hate for numerous reason, not least that she would be an epileptic wandering through the Dales alone.

Well it's ok at the moment but I'm still getting the odd twinge. Nothing I can't live with though. I think I will invest in a high quality knee brace for a bit of extra support.
