Can't add kits

I downloaded a lower league update and tried to set a custom kit for a team from the lower league, but even though I wrote the code at the config file correctly (with the right ID number and so) the kit didn't "sync" to the team. I tried to set the same kit to an "original" league's team and it did work. Does someone know why did it happen?
