Anyone a couple of seasons in to the beta?

If anyone is around 2 seasons in on the beta, can you check Mexico and see if any teams have been promoted from the second division please?

There is a new rule in Mexico where no team can get promoted from the second division for 5 years and I'm wondering if this has been put into FM22. I'm not even through a full season on the beta yet.

have you checked under the rules of the comp in game it may say something about promotion/relegation

just quick sim no one gets relegated from top division after the first season, so no promotion either

if you want to check for several years just set up small DB and have norway as a selected nation get to start in april 2021 then sim for as long as you want/stop every year IMO, switch auto save to every 5 years and it wont take long

Relegation in Mexico is based on the average points table and only one club gets relegated so the three you mentioned wouldn't had been relegated regardless.

In FM 21 the rule was already in place and promotions started happening after the 7 years so I assume it is still the case for 22.

It was announced by the Mexican FA that no promotion or relegation for 5 years, it's to stabelise teams and stop them going out of business. The average points thing is what they used to relegate teams, so over a 3 season period whoever had the lowest average would go down.

Mexico is mad it's why I love playing there.

Oh that's cool, I've never been to an international football match. Plenty of league, cup and Champs League games but never a national team game
