Academy team. No league and No Fixtures

Hi all

Long time observer and self taught FM fan! im using a custom database but ive landed in a very weird position. Ive taken on an academy team whose only objective is "strive to make progress off and on the pitch". They are not in a league. There is no staff (advert running for 5 months and still no Physio or Asst Manager). There are no matches or fixtures. No club visions or season objectives, No league, No cup. Nothing. Just around 20 part time players all under the age of 18 and none of them have proper contracts. All I seem to be doing is arranging friendlies and rotating squads and trying to scout new talent.

My question. Is this what they call and Academy challenge and if not, what is it? What do I do exactly? Like I said there is no league and no schedule. In fact the training week is half grey due to "Unavailable" and any matches played are friendlies that I have arranged. In fact even the staff are all part time and my wage bill for both staff and players is £35 per week

Any ideas what ive gotten myself into because I honestly have never seen this before. Thanks

sell them to who?? Im not even in a league where I can be scouted or approached by others!
