FM 2023 match engine

Hi All

I have one question about FM 2023. I'm fan of this series but last version where I'm playing is FM 2017. Why ? Because for my opinion everything newer version had many bugs in match engine. Example I have bought FM 2021 and what i see. The oponnet make long pass over 40 metres and my four defenders stayed, nobody move to opponet forward who scored. Completely unrealistic case. How it see in FM 2023 ?
