Vincenzo Montella's tactical approach with plenty of positional rotations and the Georgian counter-attacks that developed due to the gaps left in the defence made for an enjoyable match between Turkey and Georgia. I showed the positional rotations that made this match enjoyable on Football Manager 2024.

- Wing backs positioned wide.
- DM's and CB's always create box behind.
- Ayhan drops back as LCB or RCB.
- Always looking for numerical advantage.
- Calhanoglu has a deep and free role.
- Stable tempo both in build-up and attack.
- Kadioglu uses his dribbling ability more.
- Crossing or dribbling is preferred over underlaping.

- Turkey usually form a 3-1-6 without a striker in transition
- The game is built from the wide spaces created by the opponent on the wings. There is overloads on the wings.
- Triangles are formed in wide areas to enter the goal box.
- Kökçü comes to support triangles when numerical advantage cannot be achieved
- Güler plays as a playmaker who gets more involved in the set-up, but his left foot has been invaluable in Turkey's goals.
- Yılmaz is used as a roaming striker. He supports the wings.
- The role of Yılmaz and Kökçü causes a lot of rotation in this triangles setup. The rotations of Kadıoğlu, Yıldız and Çalhanoğlu on the left and Müldür, Güler and Çalhanoğlu on the right are quite functional.
