It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I dont know why there is a change file with face icons … i thought these icons weren´t FM 26?

I check all 3 files and i have them in graphics folder. I dont know why they are not showing.

Some faces like maldini, luis enrique did not show for me
I delected my logos pack that is FMG standard logos and all faces show now
Looks like some faces id alre equal to some logos id and that cannot happen in FM26 like they said in SI forum

Hello, does anyone know how to fix this? The faces in FM26 look much lower in quality, with a white line above the head and a white outline around many players.

Never had a problem with previous versions but whenever I download this I only get Faces folder in Winrar and not iconfaces. Any idea how I get this!?

Hello i downloaded the facepack and it looks blurry compared to the default faces of the licensed leagues i dont know why, was working normal on fm24.

Yeah I'm getting the same thing. I'm adding individual faces to the game from the facepack section on here for faces that are missing from my team, they are included in the megapack, reason I do it individually as the faces SI provide are so clear, when I do end up adding faces there's a white or black line above the players head. Its a minor issue but my OCD cant handle it! Maybe its an issue on the BETA and will be sorted when full release comes……

I'm also planning to delete the player files that already have faces in the original version separately. I also hope to use the original faces first, as it does look clearer. If the official version of SI doesn't fix this issue, I hope the update after "Cut out" won't update the players with faces in the original game for the time being. It would be even more perfect if a complete version could be released that does not include the players with faces in the original game at cut out 26.00.

Probably a super dumb question, but I've been trying to add head scans for players who do not yet have face scans in the folder. matching the number it says is assigned to them. I have their dimensions at 250x250, but when I load into my save they still just have the black silhouette thingy.

I don't think someone removed certain players. All mentioned players are in the 26 megapack. So the problem is on your side. Try to download again with newest config file.

I've downloaded the FM26 face pack which is 12gb. I've extracted the folder but when I go into the face pack folder itself, all I get is a loading sign. I've left this for over 4 hours and nothing shows. I know it's a big file but surely after this long it should show the faces. If I drag it to my faces folder will they show in game?

Anyone know why I don't have pic of Pep Guardiola when he is in the megapack and the rest of it appears to be working. I have added new younger players and women facepacks. I have used FM XML too and it does not appear. Thanks
