Well done, amazing update but I have a question regarding the logo of ZED FC [Formerly FC Masr] why wasn't it added?
Qvordrup
The request was made after the 12th of January, and will be part of next update. look out for the message that says that a new update is being made and anything after that messages goes into next update 👍

Greetings fine gentlemen and congratulations on your hard work on making the FM even greater for us all. I am new to your community and i have a rather silly question to ask you, that i m sure has been answered before but by browsing through the forum i wasn't able to find anything about it. What i m curious is if with every update you also update the complete pack? To give you an example lets say that i downloaded the complete pack on 20/03/21 with your last update being on 02/03/21 i think i should be fine and that i don't need to download the 3 updates. Am i right or wrong? Again sorry about the silliness of the question and thank you for your time.
Qvordrup
Yes we update the full download every time there is a new update. So you should have everything and just need to look out for any future updates 👍

Thank you so much!

Advert:
The Alternative thread: https://sortitoutsi.net/content/55554/alt-metallic-logos-pack
The Alternative thread is not really active at the moment, and last time someone made a alternative logo is around april.
So we are really looking for someone (or more people) to take control of this thread and make alternative metallic logos. You can have your own little corner of the metallic logo project, and do what ever you want with the Alternative pack that has not been updated for over a year now 👍

Any torrent perspectives for FM 2022 ?
This pack is the best FM package ever, I'm a big fan!
Qvordrup
Yes… This year will have a FM22 basepack torrent as usually. We aim to have it ready before the release of the full version on the 9th of november 👍
Qvordrup
Update 1 (FM22) is now live and ready to be downloaded 😀
This is a very small update and it's primary purpose is to get the pack ready for FM22. This years basepack torrent has been released, and some changes has been made.
We have decided to add “nation teams” logos to the pack. They have been added as a “team” folder in the nations folder.
The primary nations logo is still FA logos and if no national team logo exists then the FA will be used also as team logo.
This means that you can now request national team logos.
The flag folder also now contains a normal folder.
All you have to do to make the new changes work is to delete the “large” and “medium” folder within your flag folder.
If you don't like the new changes all you have to do is to copy the flags from the “normal” folder in your flags folder to the new “team” folder in your nations folder (not the config).

thanks for the update!

any news on 1st update for fm22?
Qvordrup
Hi all.
The Metallic logo project is in a bit of trouble 🤷♂️. @Skywalker is no longer making updates due to not having time any more. This means that we are way behind in making updates. We are still missing one update from fm21, that should have been part of the last update. It covers the requests made from 05 sept until 22 oct.
from https://sortitoutsi.net/comments/get/648511 until https://sortitoutsi.net/comments/get/654092
My role in this project has always been of a more administrative nature, since we picked up from where @kremmen left off. My part in this project was meant to be temporarily, but 2 years has now gone by. My role right now is to check the updates for any wrong ids and upload the updates to the site server. Unfortunately I don't have time to collect and cut all the requests, and if no one volunteers to help out this project will come to a dead end 😢.
So what is it I (we) need help with? Well first of all I would very much like to get the last update from fm21 made, and I need help collecting and cutting the requests. If the logos are cut right and sorted in the right folders (club, comp, nation, ect.), then I can very quickly make them metallic by using the action file combined with the “batch” function in photoshop.
Going forward I think we need to get more people involved in the process of making updates. We have now in two years gone through two people who have made the updates by them selfs, First @Armagedon_55 and then @Skywalker . I think it is fair to say that making one update a month is way to time consuming for one person and they quickly burn out. So please write here or PM if you are interested in being part of this wonderful project. I still haven't figured out how to organise it, if many people want to help out, but lets first see if any one volunteers.
(@Footygamer @mons) I can see that you are very active in the request forum so perhaps you would like to help @bakizp
Qvordrup
Please read the above 👍

@Qvordrup
Yeah,I was thinking about learning to do metallics.I'll let you know how it's going.

@Qvordrup, while I would like to have the time to help out on this logopack that I have been using for years on end, sadly my time is taken up almost entirely with the cut-out megapack 😢
However, I believe that using remove.bg will make things much easier for anybody interested in doing so. It's a fantastic free online tool which does the heavy lifting for you by removing the background in the source image. We use it in the cut-out forum, and I surmise it'd be even more practical for logos since they won't have hair details, collars etc. In my view, requesters could be encouraged to provide the logos only in a format which has had the background removed, leaving the community needing only to crop and/or resize. It's tremendously easy to use and provides fantastic quality. With it, you can go from source to image with the background removed in literally seconds. One doesn't need any graphic design knowledge at all to use it.
Here's a couple of videos on how to use it, one when combined with Photoshop and another using photopea.com, which is a free online app so close to Photoshop that it has the same shortcuts, layout and icons 😉 If you don't have Photoshop, photopea.com is the tool I would recommend to use to tweak the draft cut produced by remove.bg. It's more powerful and versatile than GIMP and other similar tools.
While the below videos are for cut-outs, the same concept would apply for logos, obviously without the bits relevant to cut-outs.
bakizp
I don't think remove.bg is good enough for logos.
Just one example with non-white background,it can mess up logos on white background, too:
mons
Just like cut-outs, there will be a few instances where it won't be possible and its use is not ideal - but I'm sure that for the majority of images provided, then it'll be more than good enough.
bigpole
I don't have eye candy but I can try to help with cutting in photoshop and send you a ‘raw’ standard version without any filters/actions on it. If that helps - I'll see what I can do

@Qvordrup Courage to all of you, because as responsible for TCM Logos, I know how much time it takes, both for logo research and for their processing. Combined with busy private and professional lives, it can be difficult to respond quickly to all requests. Good luck !
