I've tried to upload a background pack which is nearly 900MB in size but every time i do the page just dies after a few seconds for some reason. I've also a similar problem when trying to download large files too (face megapack etc), it's as if the connection drops or something though there is nothing wrong my end? My way around this was to download using IE as would never work on Chrome, though was just wondering/hoping if you have any idea why this happens and if there is a way of stopping it as really don't wanna have to use IE if i can help it as i simply don't like it! Cheers.

There's an 800mb limit set at the moment I believe, it's very rare (in fact never) the case that 900mb files are uploaded and to be honest they're better uploaded via FTP.

However I can change it to allow your files.

Sorry that you wasted your time trying, it should error out with an appropriate message but apparently not.

Its not a massive problem but the way i've done it was to try to keep the separate packs off the site as i think you have to make a new thread for each upload? If your able to give me a larger file share that'll be great even just 900mb to get the first one up (its a UK pack so don't really wanna separate it) then as and when i've got others ready i can keep them under the 900mb limit.

I'd like to put them on here for safe keeping and to make them more exclusive to this site (not that i post anywhere else anyway!), but its really not a problem if i can't make the larger packs as its not a necessity. I probably should have just uploaded them all to here to start with but like i said i think you need to make a new thread for each pack and i didn't wanna flood the place when i could just keep it all in one place.
