Hate Rooney. Utd played well, Welbeck goal a bit harsh. Was Valencia on a yellow before his tackle?

Rooney is a cunt, a tackle on the ground doesn't give you fucking whiplash

You see this is the thing.

He did great tonight, the players showed passion and we looked like we had a game plan, if that had been the case when we rolled over for you or City then he'd have a lot more supporters.

I don't think anyone's been holding him to unrealistic expectations, its his failure to do the bare minimum right so far thats been whats got people on his backs.

He deserves a lot of credit tonight, but seriously Fellaini is down right appalling.

The thing is we was in a similar position with Rodgers last year. Granted we've been shit for a few years now, but it's just an example that giving someone time and support can turn things around.

Yeah, maybe we didn't win the title the year before etc, but to be fair you won it last year largely due to everyone else being absolutely shit and inconsistent. My point was that the team at times looked shit, we lost to teams like West Brom 3-0 and just genuinely looked clueless at times. But he slowly got to implement his playing style, tactics, training etc and we can see the results of it this year.

Nah, my point is that imo it was obvious that Rogers had some clue what he was doing. Yeah, you had some shocking performances, but generally they could be excused as some teething problems because Rogers was actually altering the style of play. You also improved after not winning for something like 5 games, and ended the season well enough, humping some teams along the way, iirc you had a dip in form around November time again when Suarez lost some form and you had a tonne of injuries.

Moyes has no such excuse, and in fact the opposite is true. Our form has got progressively worse the longer he's had with the team.

Moyes thrives as the "underdog", hence the performance last night. You can see that he sets his team up to soak up pressure then counter, even when at home. Probably why they've the best away record in the league

Much as its rich for a team with Arjen Robben to complain about diving, Rooney's fall was ridiculous.

If that was anyone other than Rooney (or Messi), the masses would be up in arms over that sort of theatrics.

Adrian Chiles actually made a good point last night that everyone in the studio ignored "What if Robben did that?" Just like he was crucified against Arsenal

In all fairness, i think if you was in Rooneys position, with a player like Schweinsteiger (who's already on a booking) coming in like he did you'd of done the exact same thing, i fail to understand why anyone wouldn't, it makes Bayern just a little bit weaker next week.

Cech beaten at his near post, should've done better.

But nice work from Pastore to get into that position.
