As you can see the club has enjoyed quite a fruitful 2 years.. being crowned champions twice in as many attempts. They blitzed through the Regional First Division and then went on to take the Regional Premier Division by storm too - thus landing themselves in the Skrill South, with the expectation of finishing 4th. That's where I come in - I won't settle for 4th, I'm going up this season whether they like it or not, bitches.
Look at our captain, what a hero. He's 39 years of age and his name will ring a bell to quite a few of you. He is on board with Whitehawk having played a very respectable 9 seasons in the Championship with Millwall and Palace racking up well over 250 appearances at that level.. but never reaching the Premier League. I feel like I owe it to him to get him there whether he has retired and joined the coaching set up or is still our captain at the tender old age of 44, let's do it... FOR MATT LAWRENCE! (couldn't help myself but mention his pace and acceleration)

Small world!
Thanks Jamie.
The Whitehawk ultras.

Strengthened some positions in which we had bugger all by bringing in 4 players. Trani stands at 6ft 7 so he's a big lad. Shelled out and spent £5k on Noble who's a versatile chap being a natural in 2 positions. Pinched a right-back from the Met Police, seeing as he was on a rolling contract we didn't pay a penny. The fellow who left the club was absolutely shit (yes, even by this club's standards) yet was earning a cool £500 a week - cya.

We qualify for the first round of the FA Trophy after giving Ebbsfleet a good old pasting. Hit the post on 4 occasions too so this could well have been an even nicer scoreline but it wasn't to be. As for the FA Cup we went out in qualifying against Eastleigh. Meh.

Halfway stage and we're top of the pile. Flying in the league - top goalscorer, top average rating and top assister (is that a word?). Due to our pretty successful FA Trophy run we find ourselves with a few games in hand on surrounding teams. However, if you look down the league the games played column is all to fuck anyway. Oh well.
Conference side Woking out of the way. Easy.
Another victory against a Conference side. Just as easy. We play Dartford (another conference side) in the third round for any of you avid followers of the coveted FA Trophy.

Easy.
Drat. First side we play in the Trophy that aren't a league above us and we get beat.. complacency setting in there. Oh well, no more fixture congestion - can fully concentrate on getting this side their third consecutive league title.

We ran the league the whole season. We were beating everyone and all of a sudden we were without a win in 4 games, but still... the situation was not totally bleak. We needed a draw against Dover in the penultimate game of the season to take it to the last day. We got beat 3-1 - and deservedly so, we were absolutely shit. So we have to settle for a play-off spot. Grrr.
We deserved more. We scored 96 goals for crying out loud. We deserved more.
Sam77
But we're Whitehawk Football Club, no one stands in our way. Danny Mills took his total to 31 league goals this season, monster.
We play Eastleigh in the final, bring it.

League Player of the Year goes to our boy Jamie Smith. The player we brought in on a free at the start of the season enjoyed a ridiculously good campaign racking up 15 league goals and 20 assists along the way. Played son.

Thanks mate. Yup, they were definitely games for the neutrals!
Brought in 3 players in a bid for a successful first season in the Conference. I'm very much hoping that the play-offs aren't too much to ask this season as I don't fancy hanging round in this league for long. Fully aware we'll have to be shit hot for that to happen, though.

We draw cup minors Yate Town in the second round... the dream is alive.

Hope I can make it that far Dan!
Speaking of the FA Cup we saw off Yate Town in an underwhelming 1-0 win.. but it'll do.

Results have been disastrous lately, something needed to change. Opted for a new tactic, ditching the all-out style we had in the Conference South last season and rolling with a 4-2-2-2 to make us less shit at the back. I have high hopes for it so hopefully it can be the catalyst to spark a late surge up the league.

Cheers George! Sure did mate, saved our season.

Haha. In more positive news, signed an absolute beauty of a player for a mere £30k. Conference player of the year with 6 goals and 19 assists at the tender old age of 16! Alex Staley has the potential to be a successful Premier League attacking midfielder so I'm happy as hell to have him on board.
