FIFA 15 - Off Topic - FM24 - Football Manager 2024

Done surprisingly well on ultimate team. Love the low scoring tight matches, had a 0-0 last night.

What usually hurts me is when i'm running at a player usually in their half (closing them down) and they play a big pass or through ball straight to the strikers it automatically changes my controlled player to a centre back and as I'm running forward closing down with the other man when it automatically changes I'm running forward with the centre back therefore running past the ball and player.

Be a Pro is better (teammates AI is miles better).

Haven't played Manager Mode yet, will start one soon enough though

I'm rarely involved in low scoring games. I think my three most recent matches have ended 8-4, 6-1 & 3-2.

Good to know the AI is better. Pisses me off when they are 5 yards away from you and rather than just pass to your feet, they chip it at your face. Thats why I normally play as a GK. Might give it a go as an outfield player.

The through balls they play are pretty exceptional, and that's me playing at Swindon

Really nice comeback win last night as I beat ze Germans 2-1 at home in the Euro qualifiers. Handed a well hard group as well: Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Czech rep and Slovenia.

Thats the team I've built so far, just want Neur, Alaba, Reus and Lewandowski and it'd be pretty much complete however to get those four I'd be looking at 500k

Remember you can get Lewandowski on loan. Costs 4000 FCC for 4 games though.

Opposition teams in career mode are dumb. Every game I play there are at least 2 or 3 players playing in the wrong position. Its usually the full backs, like Shaw playing RB and Rafael playing LB. Barry Bannan playing striker for Palace and Chamakh in defensive midfield is the weirdest i've seen so far.

I've also noticed their not playing their strongest side. Lindegaard and Schwarzer are both regular in goal for Manchester United and Chelsea.

I think some of the players body sizes might be a little dramatic, Brad Guzan looks as if he was made on the Smackdown franchise.

Just bumped it up to Legendary and started a new Career Mode with Arsenal (although I have adjusted a couple of sliders). Beat City on penalties in the Community Shield after a 1-1 draw, drew 0-0 with Palace on the opening day before beating Everton 4-0 and Leicester 3-1.

Anyone tried any of the PC patches for the game? Managed to get my game looking really good, with mud patches etc near the goals, aswel as players who have tattoos IRL also have them on the game too, and managed to get an ultra graphics patch that fixes the alaising and makes the game look far better than it does on consoles at 1080p.

Anyone nkow any others thats available for PC? Don't want gameplay mods/patches just visual patches to make the game look better, kits/faces/stadiums/nets etc.

Anyone else finding that no matter the formation the gap between the defence and midfield is always ridiculously large? Like when you play 5s and your 'midfielder' insists on being an attacking midfielder because he's too lazy to do any defensive work.
