That said, I'm happy to sticky it if more people deem it worthy of such

I've stickied it for the time being to make it more evident and hopefully attract more new cutters with the advent of FM15

Can anyone give me a tip how to work images like them?

Ciro is done much better than the one you've done him recently.I'm not the best with hair so this one looks very good, after checking on dark background. One of the "problem" I saw on most images from you is that you are leaving too much empty space between top of the head and up edge of the cut.In the future try to make them as much closer you can to the up edge.

They are quite good and don't need that much of improvement to be honest. As BajaHater said, crop the images so there's very little empty area left on top and there was also a little bit of snow left on the first two images. Those are easily fixed with the Clone Stamp Tool though. Just lock transparent pixels and use Clone Stamp tool in Darken mode to darken that little bit of snow and you are good to go really. There was a little bit of leftovers from the background too, which ain't very visible in 180x180 pixels, but generally speaking you should zoom in and check if there's some. There's a lot around the head in the second cut (can be seen on a dark background), altough it can't be seen very well in a smaller size. You also want to rotate the image if the head is tilted sideways.
Here's an example from your mix pack. The second one is a bit fuzzy because I had to overscale it after croping the empty space, but I suppose you get the point.

Also, if you have a look at the image posted by Baja, I strongly suggest that you use black and grey transparency instead of white and grey, as the former let you see at a glance whether the cut contains any snow...

Acceptable?
Baja
Yes
After you've got all these tips, now is the best to re-done that mixpack again by using them

Also,if you can't handle with every image, then do what you can,and send me back those you can't.

I've had another go at Improvement mixpack thread 1. I left out 8083, that hair is tough and if someone's already done no point in me only getting a half good cut. I got a different source image for 23063755 which i think is a better image than the one in the zip file. One of the images gave me some trouble, see what you think. let me know what i could do to improve it.
Original. its better than the one in the database 33008085
Here's the link to download all the images. If you guys are happy with them i'll post this link on the Teampack request thread and move on to another set of images

A general comment - always try to center your images when possible. A good way to do so is by ensuring that the distance between the ears and the site of the cut is the same on both sides. Also, some of the images could be brightened a little bit more.
This is merely nit-picking, however, and these are things I can take care of when checking the images before inclusion into the MP. Great work and welcome to the cutting team - looking forward to seeing more of your work

Thanks mons

Now all looks much better at my opinion, and also 8083 wich you've done yesterday (that's Ciro Ferrara) is good.Only guy you've cut too much details is 5780932 and he ain't be improvement,so I'll save him for some future mixpack. All the others are improvements If you decide to do more improvement mixpacks, just let me know,so I can tell you wich images you shouldn't do,and again if someone is too hard just leave him,let me know, and I'll save him for same as 5780932

Will do and thanks

At least Photoshop asks if you want to use compression when you are saving in a png format. It reduces the file size to about half, which in case cut outs is around 50kB.

I can't see the option of it... I am using Photoshop CS5

Hope this works

For a first time cutter, that's very good. Ideally we prefer the cut to have some collar (like #2) but with the chin as close as possible to the edge of the cut (like #1), but that's not a deal-breaker. The cut's not too bad, although there is some stray colour around the neck which can be easily fixed by watching the remove snow video in the OP. Also, pay attention to the ears, there's small bits of the edges which are transparent, and that's not ideal.
Altogether, however, a very promising debut and I hope we see a lot more of you in the future
