Moving Profile between OSX/Win machines?

So I moved my saved game from the original Windows machine to my OSX laptop so I can play here and there when travelling or just sitting on the couch or laying in bed. As my Win machine is a lot more powerful, sometimes I would like to play on the Win machine while doing other things etc..

Is it possible to go back and forth between the two machines or am I risking corrupting the file?

If its the game save then it should work fine as long as all base files are included in both games such as a database modification.

I recommend using the 3 rolling save option then if 1 does sadly fail you will have the other 2 available although they maybe a week or month or 2 behind the main save, other than that it should be fine as long as both systems can managed the game saves database that you started the save with.

I've not tested this so i maybe not 100% correct but please feel free to update this thread with any problems or even if it works fine
