Leicester have signed that Kramaric lad but talk is there's a deal in place for him to go to Chelsea in the summer. Something about Chelsea not being able to buy him then loan him out in same window so they struck a deal with Leicester

Wouldn't be surprised if there is some sort of deal with Chelsea involved amongst it all because a move directly to Leicester makes little sense, when in all likelihood he'll be playing Championship football in 7 months time. Secondly, moving to Chelsea now makes little sense either when we have Costa, Drogba and Remy. If the original reports are true, the idea was that we'd sign Kramaric and loan him out. He'd then come back for next season and effectively replace Drogba, who'd could possibly retire at the end of the season and join our staff team. Could be some logic to it all.

Yeah, the issue with that is you can't sign someone and loan them out in the same window I believe. If he keeps Leicester up then that'd be a fucking brilliant deal from their perspective tbf, and he gets Prem experience for Chelsea

Premier League Rule V.7.1
'A Temporary Transfer to a Club may not take place in the Transfer Window in which the Transferor Club acquired the Player's registration.'

Chelsea would be allowed to sign Kramaric and then loan him out to a club abroad however, as they did with Zouma last year. And Liverpool with Origi.

Why doesn't it make sense?

At the very worst he'll get 6 months of first team Premier League football and fuck off somewhere better if he's actually any good.

Assaidi gone to Dubai, no idea why we ever signed him considering we never actually gave him a good run in the team

To go to BT where they have some of the Champs League games from next season.

He's fucking useless, as is Steven Taylor.

All this new manager stuff is handily cloaking the fact we're absolutely desperate for a centre back.

Why do you think they didnt appoint anyone yet? So they are not pressured into buying anyone!

It's outrageous how whoever makes the decisions can't see that we're in dire need of one though, really.

New York City FC have signed Mix Diskerud on free transfer having failed to agree a new deal with Rosenborg. Surely a replacement for Lampard?

Part of me would have liked Kalas to find a Prem team to go out on loan with when he returned.

Allegedly Roma are planning on returning Yanga-Mbiwa. Maybe that might work.

I wouldn't rule out MYM returning at some point, if we get a French manager in then maybe he'd could convince him to stay.

Saying that, we'll probably end up with John Carver as manager and Mike Williamson first choice

Anyone know quite how City are getting away with spending 28 million on a player with regards to FFP?

Valencia have all but agreed to sign Negredo at the end of the season, especially now with their chairman firmly in place.

Why are Roma sending back the world's greatest CB?

I was hoping that maybe we could swap him for that Totti fella. Or maybe De Rossi.

They've been allowed to use the money they haven't received in transfer fees yet (Negrado) deal to offset their spending this year. I'm not sure if they have a spending cap again next season, but if they don't its disappointing just how far Uefa keep climbing down on FFP.

Who cares? FFP is nothing but a protectionist measure from big clubs anyway.

Roma are trying to negotiate a deal where they pay less than the 5.5m they've contractually obliged to if they play him in one more game. That's why he's been dropped I think.

He's looked superb in the CL for them this year, I'd love him to be given a proper chance at centre back here but it's never really gonna happen.

I've only seen him in one game this season, thought he looked a bit rash at times.

If it was properly done there'd have been bigger punishments than the ones Man City ever did.

I was under the assumption that since the 7-1 hiding by Bayern Munich he'd not been quite as good as he had been until then.

So Roma are prepared to sit their best defender on the bench for the derby and risk the Scudetto (The first in over a decade iiirc, and only something like the third in Roma's history?) and possibly cancel his contract in exchange for saving a comparatively small amount of money?

And I watched highlights of the CL and he was fucking comical in Roma's defeats to Bayern (7-1) and Man City. His 'defending' on Zaba's goals was awful. Jovetic turns him on the wing then he just stand and fucking watches Jovetic stroll into the box.

Fucking hope he comes back and relegates us.
