can you please explain to me why this is the case?

I am able to move West ham to the first round of the UEFA league quite easiliy on MY editior

i just cannot update West Ham -> Europe on my database, and make it compatible with the sortitoutsi data base download

This has been explained at length, quite often.

The way the rules were when FM 15 was made was that only 4 teams from each country can only be involved in Europa/Champions league. The rules were changed this season allowing a 5th team to be eligible to compete should they qualify, this happened in both England and Spain this year.

The problem lies with the game, FM 15 only supports the rules before they were changed, we could theoretically get the game to allow 5, however we would need to re-write the English leagues from scratch, something which is both time consuming, and virtually impossible with the release of FM 16 just round the corner.

You can get West Ham into Europe, however it would mean sacrificing another English team in the competition, we chose to exclude West Ham from our database because they were qualified through Fair play and decided to include only teams that qualified via other cups and/or league position. Had we been able to make all 5 English clubs compete as it should be, we really would have. Its just something we cannot control unfortunately.

- Jed Wallace has a match highest earner clause, which is highly unrealistic now that he's at Wolves.
- Sam Ricketts is still club captain despite moving to Coventry City.
- Rob Edwards has been promoted to first team coach, and our new U18s Manager is Jerry Gill:

The game will replace Sam Ricketts once the season starts so don't worry.

You can submit the Jerry Gill deal and promote Rob Edwards via the editor. Not all of this is down to staff to make the submissions lol.

Numerous teammates nevertheless get annoyed when I try to switch up the captaincy. (apologies in advance if someone has already mentioned this one; tried searching before posting but couldn't find any answers!)

Seems someone added some Argentine player, Damián Martinez, to Wolves. They might have mistaken him for Emiliano Damián Martinez, who is Arsenal's young goalkeeper. The problem is that they are both at Wolves!

If there are mistakes or corrections to be made, you can submit the deals yourself.

When I search for those players, they seems to be okey, but not in the update.

As I said, they were on loan to these clubs initially. Then when the deals expired they went back. We removed all the loans in the game. So for example Fabián Monzón was there on loan and then returned to Catania.

As I said before it is down to YOU the user to submit the changes. We moderate them. If there are mistakes (which there will be, ensure you have evidence for us to correct it.

Pablo Perez and Fabian Monzon are not in loan to Boca Juniors (ARG).

In the official DB, both players appears to be in Boca, not with a loan from their clubs.

I don't know how to make that change, because in the search section both appears to be in Boca.

Although Alain Baroja's loan on AEK Athens is enabled when i downloaded the latest version of the database and started a new game baroja was not there. Can you fix this please?

As you rightly say he has been submitted. For him to appear you need to load up all players with Venezuelan nationality. You have to do the same thing if you want Manuel Lanzini to appear in the West Ham squad (load all Argentinian players). We could alter the rep for him to show.
