FAQ
Do I need to download both?
NO! Do not download both and do not have both installed.
I've installed both by accident!
If you have downloaded and installed both the easiest things to do is just delete all the files
Just be careful not to select all the files called “sorttitoutsi” because you might also delete the Real Name Fix and if you do you'll want to get that back.
What if i'm playing in one of those countries but starting in early 2023
Then by all means, use the default data update. The new data update is only designed for people who are starting in early 2024.
- Delete any previous version of our South America Data Update you may have installed before you start
- Download the zip file to your computer using the "Download" button
- Extract the zip file

Move the contents of the Zip file to the following location (create the "editor data" folder if it doesn't exist)
- Windows: My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/editor data/
- Mac: /Users/YOURNAME/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/editor data/
- Start Football Manager and select "New Career Game".
- In the top right make sure that 24.3 is selected and this update is checked under "Editor Data Files".
- Uncheck any other updates that may conflict with this update (the real name fix does not).
- Start your career!.
