Italian Fixture bug

Anyone come across this before? I have a game playing as 3 minor clubs in the Scottish, Italian, and German leagues. After the first season, my italian side won its league. Into the second season and the German and Scottish sides have played a few games. The italian side has played some cup games - but it has no league fixtures. Furthermore there are no Serie A, B, or C fixtures scheduled - they are simply not playing games in Italy. Not sure what to do!
