So, grass roots football is seeing the introduction of sin bins for players who show dissent.

Do you think this is a good idea? Should it be implemented higher up the leagues? The EFL? The Premiership?

Big fan of how the rugby referees are respected, and generally how rugby players act on the pitch. If it reduces dissent (and in future hopefully rolling about like you've stepped on a bastard landmine), I'm all for it. Interesting to see how they're looking to other sports and seeing what works, shows that they're actually giving a damn about the sport which is nice. Tier 5 of the National league system would be Tier 10 if I'm thinking right?

It's a brilliant idea providing all refs actually implement it. The problem in this country (premier level at least) is that the standard of refereeing is simply awful with every one of them seemingly using different rules to officiate matches.

sorry late to this yes it is a great idea as it is long overdue

as well as giving the ref another 'tool'

is there any feedback from where this is trialing ?
