Thanks for giving it a go but I've made it available for cutting again as it's quite a good source.
To start off cutting, can I suggest trying with a much simpler source in terms of hair (ideally bald or close-cut) and a white or plain background? What program and what technique are you using?

I'm afraid that's a very rudimentary program and tool, which isn't really very practical for use in fiddly tasks such as cutting, because the edges will inevitably end up being very jagged. Could you try using Photoshop?

You may be able to download a trial version which would expire after a month's use, I believe.
