I have uploaded a far better one in 250x250 after finding a better photo,
please discount the original photo from my first pack.

Try cutting close to the chin. If you're having trouble leaving a bit of collar you this technique.

I haven't scaled this down to 250x250 yet but is that better/acceptable?

It's not game-ready if it's in 460x460 so upload it as source next time perhaps 😉

What technique are you using to get the initial cut? I used remove.bg which gives more natural edges, since the edges of the one you posted are a bit less gradual.

I use a free select tool for the shirts and neck and a pen to remove the textures around trickier areas like the hair,
I'll have a look for remove.bg if that's what you'd recommend 🙂

Certainly try using remove.bg to make the initial cut. There's a tutorial in the guide to cutting thread on how best to use this method.

In order to refine the cut produced by remove.bg, I then suggest using photopea.com, which is a very good tool as a Photoshop equivalent 😉

When you're done, best to post your initial attempt in the guide to cutting thread for feedback rather than on the player's timeline 👍
