a) For future cuts, keep in mind that the face should be straight-on, rather than slanting or at angle; i.e. the eyes are ideally in a straight line and parallel to the top or bottom of the cut.
b) You've left too much space above and beneath the head. We want the player's face to fill the canvas for the 250px cutout, which would mean cropping the image along these red lines:
c) The cut had a fair bit of snow. Putting it through remove.bg removes most of it, but here's a technique on how you can easily spot and remove it:
