@mons As he has removed the blonde highlights from his hair surely this is still a valid improvement?

I agree which is why I had put it back on pending.
Not a proper image. Very poor.

It doesn't respect the format of the pack. Not a proper frontal picture.
this one doesn't look properly, better use his old pics at this point
@Shigekai Unless I'm very much mistaken, you had to use an AI image enlarging tool on these cuts, which is to be avoided. Using an AI image enlarger just “guesses” what certain pixels should look like when you make the image larger, and the result looks blurry/out of focus on certain details, with unrealistically smoothened skin, and unnatural looking hair/beard/eye/teeth details.
The 500x500 Premier League sources aren't the biggest, especially since they are for players which have essentially identical cuts already, mostly from very recently. As far as I'm concerned, none of these will actually be considered as improvements.

I did use an AI image enlarging tool on a few of these cuts. If I hadn't, would they still be considered improvements? Some of the current cuts of these players are outdated or don't look the best. I'm interested in knowing what would be considered an improvement.

As explained, the source images are too small, basically since they are 500x500 from the waist up, and once the face is cropped, they'll need to be upscaled to fit the 250x250 cut dimensions, thus inevitably losing sharpness. The vast majority of the Chelsea squad has had cuts in the past few months in which they look essentially the same, several of which quite recently from the Euros or Copa America. It therefore makes little sense to replace the current generally excellent and high-quality cuts with ones which are not as sharp.
Moreover, you'd expect HQ cuts for such a high-profile team to be available soon, which makes it even less logical to cut such low-quality source images.
Use the below as a guide to what constitutes an improvement:
- We don't consider a newer image to be automatically an improvement since we also take quality of source and cut into consideration. If the current megapack cut is recent and similar in look (check on his/her timeline before uploading an image), there is little added value in cutting another source for the person. Just because a source image is more recent than that in the MP does not automatically mean it's an improvement. It's better to have a slightly older image in the MP if it is of better quality. Ask yourself, is it really an improvement to the existing MP image? If it's the same face and hairstyle with just this season's new kit, it's probably just an alternative. Please keep in mind that we have a limited number of cutters and hundreds of thousands of images in the megapack, so we can't update them every few months or so.

even though your results are good and cool, try to spend more time cleaning the snow from their hair
Added better colour correction and brightness, finished.
