If you spot a mistake like this, please tag @mons to make sure that your comment is seen, otherwise it can easily get lost amongst the many cutout submissions each day.
fyi @Valentin Lentz as well
edit: I've moved the image to the correct player's timeline
#723400 Site issues - reporting thread
weeniehutjr
Still occurring on the cutout submissions page for me - it seems to be an issue with connecting to b-cdn.net (i.e. the thumbnail images hosted externally rather than the images hosted on sortitoutsi.net). Maybe they're having server/regional caching issues or something.

Images have been very slow to load - often timing out - today. Are there any issues with the media servers?
#723334 Adi Nalić
weeniehutjr
@tensleepslav25 Nalić had a new, high quality cutout added to the megapack in August, and he still looks the same as in the source you requested. With that in mind, and because your source image has the face in quite a bit of shadow, it means it won't really be an improvement on the current cutout - there are nearly 6500 pending images already requested to be cut that cutters' time would be better spent on 👍

Thanks for pointing this out - in the future if you spot a mistake like this one, be sure to tag a staff member to make sure your comment doesn't get accidentally missed amongst all the cutout submissions 🙂
fyi @mons Ammar (2000118524) already has the cutout on his profile so the existing one here can just be rejected.
#722349 Source links

It's still possible, just maybe more complicated than before.
On a player's profile page, open Inspect Element/DevTools, then on the “Application” tab, scroll down until you see a subfolder called “Images” on the left side. Then in that subfolder, scroll all the way down to a file beginning with “squared-” then a bunch of numbers, which is the full-size image:

Nice idea - you should post it here on the official SI forums so they log it as a feature request 🙂 https://community.sigames.com/forums/forum/353-football-manager-feature-requests-pcmac/

As far as I'm aware, no, it isn't possible. You'll have to look for sources from other websites as 99% of the time PL sources aren't large enough for 250px cutouts.

You can rotate images in Photopea actually - tick “Transform Controls” with the Move Tool selected:
And then you can click and drag around the edge of the layer's bounding box:

I'm not sure if all of the smaller images are on Südtirol's website still, but if they are you can get the full size by changing this part:

@Brockie19 I know this was from a month ago, but the larger image I just requested was the first result on Google Images.

I think the source you submitted can certainly produce a better quality cutout than the one currently in the Megapack which is a bit blurry; if you want to have a go at cutting it yourself then it will be considered for the next update 👍
#721387 Max Hunt
weeniehutjr
@Kristoffer2409 I don't know what happened here but your cutout is really blurry. I'll remind you again, you have to make sure that the cutouts you're uploading are sharp and of good image quality. It's pointless to keep uploading blurry cuts that won't be an improvement compared to the persons' current MP cutout.
#721381 Ryan Kent
weeniehutjr
That's why it's important to confirm if images are recent or not before requesting them. There are a few ways of doing so: For example you can download the original image and check the Metadata using a site like this, which shows the creation date:
You can also use Google Reverse Image Search/Google Lens to try and find where it was originally posted, or searching “Ryan Kent Rangers” on Google Images to find a news article using a picture from the same photoshoot.
#721299 Ryan Kent
weeniehutjr
fyi @mons @Drafter - the cutout made from @m1903's source is from 2018. The current MP cutout is more recent.
@Brockie19 If you don't tag staff members, they can easily miss your comment among the many submissions made each day.
#721133 Levi Colwill
weeniehutjr
@sarwins This is too small to produce a good quality cutout.
#721110 Frank Rothwell
weeniehutjr
The same goes for this one @Kristoffer2409 - your cutout is significantly blurrier than the existing one. A large enough source image can easily be found so there's no need to upload a blurry cutout.
#721109 Becky O'Loughlin
weeniehutjr
@Kristoffer2409 When you're resizing/cropping a cutout, you need to Constrain Proportions (or “Maintain Aspect Ratio”) - you've squashed the image so the face is too wide.
Additionally, please try and make sure that your cutouts aren't ending up blurrier than the source images you cut them from - I'm not sure exactly what the cause of this is but it's something I've noticed in your cutouts.
#721099 Ody Alfa
weeniehutjr
@Eloy Gabriel Nuñez If you have to upscale a source image, it's usually not worth cutting. You lose detail in the skin/hair when you do so and it looks unnatural.

#721072 Nigel Atangana

@Kristoffer2409 This cutout and the cutout you made of Oscar Rutherford are quite blurry. Did you remember to crop the image before putting it into remove.bg, or to remove these parts of image URLs to get the full original size?

#720863 Lack of tactics available in the in-game editor
weeniehutjr
It was an intentional decision by SI. They changed it to “more accurately reflect” real life and how managers used double-pivot formations. An example that SI used was that before, AI managers were using more-attacking midfielders such as Mason Mount in the double pivot which you wouldn't see in real life (he might play there in a 4-3-3, but not in a 4-2-3-1).

You're welcome to try cutting images yourself - read the Cutouts Tutorials and Guidelines thread first so you're familiar with the process of cutting images and the megapack submission guidelines 👍
