Your xml file is too small, it was  1600kb+ for clubs, lower for no clubs

 

Which is weird since, having just checked the original ZIP file for the 1.4 update, the Club XML clocks at 1105 KB only and the No Club one (which was on the screencap I provided) is 364 KB. And the older versions of those 2 are even smaller

 

Maybe the new versions for FM21 made those files bigger? ‘Cause I made sure not to modify any of the files after I downloaded it from here and they are still less than you said 😢

So I just finished reinstalling your mod a total of 5 times (lol but seriously, great works Rab!). The static ads work every time, but the video adboards are black no matter if I left the name as “hd” or “sd”. I also made sure to follow the sequence of versions (1.0 → 1.0 update / 1.1 → 1.2 update → 1.2.1 / Dortmund fix → CL fix → 1.3 → 1.4), alternated between the XML files and played around with graphics (Medium to Very High) and it is still black

 

Attached are the folders as they are on my PC. What did I do wrong?

Why don't you ask on the other site?

 

Partly because I'm not registered there, and the other part is I'm not sure if the account that posted on FMS is the same as the account that posted on GitHub (admittedly it should be safe to assume it is)

 

Also I intended to focus on the GitHub source in my post (the FMS page was to show where I got the files initially only), so I thought it was ok to ask here

 

Guess I'll go make an FMS account and ask the folks over there then… thanks for the quick reply though!

So I have been using this colour fix (https://www.fmscout.com/a-football-manager-2020-competition-colour-fix.html) for my FM20 for a while now, but it has since stopped updating. I Googled it back to the source (https://github.com/speccysps/Football-Manager-Authtentic-Competition-Colours/releases) and the guy has released newer versions for FM21 as well. My question is: if I download, say version 2.1.1 from there which is meant for FM21 and apply it to my FM20 folder, would it work?

- Just one from each of some countries: Premier League (England), LaLiga and Liga I (Romania)
- Germany: Bundesliga 1 and 2, as well as 3 Liga
- France: Ligue 1 and National
- Russia: First League
- Switzerland: Super and Challenge League
- Denmark: First League

Only for the home shirt, and only during cup matches (Champions League, FA Cup, EFL Cup AFAIK)
