Si, il procedimento che hai fatto è perfetto, però nel caso in cui ci sia un conflitto di ID tra club e competizioni, nel caso dei palloni, il gioco predilige quello della competizione.

Bisognerebbe trovare quale è la stringa che bypassa questo problema.

The only two paths I can still think of trying are:

However, even if one of them works, I think competitions would still take priority. For example, if Argentina is playing a friendly or a World Cup match, the competition's match ball would probably override the national team's one.

I did a couple of tests, and you were right. Starting from FM24, ID conflicts can occur, with competition IDs taking priority over national team IDs.
 

I'll remove the config file and keep only the PNG files in the folder, so anyone who wants to use them can simply rename them and assign them to the competitions they want.

@Momolisa82 If you want to use a ball for another competition you can follow these steps:

Rename the original ball by adding -OLD at the end
(Example: ENG-premierleague → ENG-premierleague-OLD)

Copy the new ball into the appropriate folder

Rename it with the original file name
(Example: ENG-premierleague)

The balls included in the BassyBoy Stadium files are far better in-game, as they're actual 3D models.

This pack was originally made for older versions of FM and simply uses static images of each match ball. It can still be useful, though, as it covers competitions that don't have an official match ball included in the mod.

Whenever a 3D ball is available, the BassyBoy Stadium files should automatically override this pack, so you'll only see these balls where no dedicated 3D model exists.


@mattyboi23 Yes, I'll try to add more generic balls in this weekend's update. I'm also thinking about including a few classic World Cup balls.

If you want to use a clubs or nations ball inside the 0-Generic Balls folder, simply rename the xml file from config_alt.xml to config.xml

I've noticed it's the last year version, since this year it's made by Adidas

Women's Champions League ball was assigned to the Women's Europa Cup, in the config file.
I've also added in the "alt" folder the Select alternative ball that is used in some matches of the Women's Europa Cup.

I think it takes a bit of time, but meanwhile you can use the one attached here

Download the file: “balls-fix” and simply copy and paste (overwrite) what's inside.

I've also added in the "alt" folder the Select ball, unfortunately we can't use more than one for a single competition, but as you noticed they are using different matchballs.

The way he used, is the best solution, i have to split everything in folders from the next update.
We will have less problems and, if needed, they will be faster to fix.

It's on the new update i'm preparing, but i was thinking about releasing it, since i noticed that few websites and forums are uploading my free works and asking for money to download them, i was really pissed off about it.

It shouldn't disappear, there's probably something that clashes between the game files and the matchballs pack, i'll try to figure it out

Just close and restart the game, it will work

delete the folder, extract it again and restart the game.
