Mine was a new save game done two to confirm.

 

I think the beta will still work, but didn't include all the stuff that mons put in the description that requires the editor to fix.

I would like to say to everybody please have some patience with this relative new project. I personally think that the project with some adjustment will be great. We aim to make a pack where all backgrounds a collected in one. But the pack has become huge.... hence the problems with downloading. So we are aware of the problems and are working on making the download more manageable and adding a torrent. When the basics of downloading is in place, and working, there will also be a process where we have to finetune the request system and the browsing system and last but not least make it possible to have stadiums_backgrunds as team backgrounds as was the case before we started the process of including more types of backgrounds to the pack (some sort of alternative config).


I agree, i loved this pack last year, it adds so much to the game particularly if you're managing in the lower leagues in a country you've not seen before. I managed in Bulgaria last year, and some of the places looked lovely! I'm trying the download again just now, using firefox and getting the forbidden error a few others have reported but will persevere. Worst case i'll wait for the torrent, as the skin I use to be compatible with the backgrounds likely wont be ready till the full release anyway 🙂 Just wanted to say thanks for the hard work you're all putting in!

Just want to start by saying the new website looks slick, and although there will obviously be some teething issues, and it will take me and a lot of people some time to get used to, in the long run it was definately a worthwhile upgrade, so well done. Give it a few months and noone will remember the old layout.

Quick question regarding the downloads hub, on the old version there was a section you could go into to see like "Other Downloads". So this was like pitch textures, ad boards, trophies etc. Are there plans to add this back in?

I've had a look and although can search for it if i know what i'm looking for, i used to enjoy just scrolling through and seeing whats available. The adboards for example was something I never realised people had edited, and it added soo much to the game! The general downloads form seems full of kits and that, its a lot to sift through
