That's been our problem for years and it was supposed to be solved by McClaren being on the board but he's chopped and changed his formation about 44324 times this season already.

Wijnaldum and Sissoko are different types of players to Anita but I agree Anita has been probably our best/most consistent this year.

"If they knew the game they would be in it."

They used to be and some hope to still be, that's the depressing thing.

It's not helping Wijnaldum being shunted out to the left when he's a central player, same with Sissoko on the right.

They're clearly our two most talented players.

Sell Williamson, Dummett, Colback, Gouffran, Riviere and Obertan and replace each of them with genuine quality in the same position and we'd be alright. 'The squad is full' isn't an excuse if he actually wants to move us forward. Sell some of the shit and replace with good players. That would give us another CB, LB, DM, LW, RW and ST. Over the next 2 windows, then you probably could let Sissoko go if he wants to go and sit on the bench somewhere better.

De Jong is suffering because he's not really an AMC nor a ST and clearly not a CM/CDM - bit like Perez tbh. I'd love to see a narrow 4231 with Wijnaldum, Perez and De Jong in the three AMC spots, proper wing backs providing the width and two top quality DM's providing cover.

Never going to happen though. McClaren and Charnley are out of their depth.

Fuck knows what our new motivational GURU Steve Black is getting paid for, too.

Just a good manager and transfer policy would be enough you'd think?

And we wouldn't have won against Tottenham or Liverpool without Sissoko - he's more important than most people think despite his obvious lack of want to be here.

Amazes me that pundits that are allowed to speak on television are still questioning whether Ozil is a good player or not.

Meanwhile if our target is top 8 (hahahaha) we need a lot of strengthening in January.

Desperate for identity - if we're playing 4-4-2 we need to sign some proper wingers and two good centre midfielders (creative and a DM) as Colback and Anita are just not going to cut it in there (although Anita has been playing well this season).

We're dying for a left back who can actually play football too as Dummett is absolutely hopeless and Haidara is perma-crocked and also not very good. We need a good partner for Mbemba too although it can probably wait until the end of the season if we get the other players in.

Another 4-5 maybe?

Likelihood of us selling Ayoze/Sissoko to fund it is quite high too probably.

Madness how Mourinho is now absolutely dreadful due to the first few bad months in his entire career.

Btw - Mourinho is the same age now as Fergie was when he won his first ever Premier League title.

It's annoying how he refused a handshake with Pulis regardless of the tactics they used.

Everyone knows a game with a team managed by Pulis is going to be god awful because it's the manager he is - just man up and shake his hand after.

As you say Mourinho would be hammered for that for days.

How come when clubs do all that shit that Liverpool did with their fans in Germany it's awesome and people wish English football was more like that and then as soon as it happens in England its embarrassing and cringy?

Nice to see Newcastle playing with a bit desire too - first half performance was dreadful, need to keep it up against Villa - anything less than 3 points would be awful.

Yeah he's lacking something to make it for the top top clubs I think.

He's still young so could develop I suppose, he's definitely our hottest prospect.

Think a move to Spurs/Everton would be better for him.

It's strange losing 3-0 and being by far the better team.

Play like that every week and we'll be midtableish, whereas if Sunderland play like that every week they'll get relegated.

However no complains from me regarding the pen, thought the red was slightly harsh though.

Cattermole should have been at least booked, he committed more fouls than our entire team and wasn't booked wheres we ended up with 2 yellows and a red.

Sissoko with about 100 assists today, all of ours and all of Norwich's too.

Wijnaldum, Perez and Mitrovic all excellent.

Anita >>>>>>>>> all of our CM's, too.

The team should hopefully be completely different by January. As in McClaren has functioned them into some semblance of organisation or purpose. And if McClaren hasn't, a new manager will hopefully be able to do so.

If Mitrovic can begin to add a goal threat and Wijnaldum stop playing shite, then Newcastle should look a lot better. A DM and a winger with pace would definitely be my priorities.

I reckon buying a LB at this stage would be 'shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic'. What's the urge to buy one anyway? Haidara has had a better season than Janmaat.

Yeah but Haidara isn't very good while Janmaat is.

A DM should be top priority if Tiote is going to continue playing like a wanker.

Yeah, he knows how to get a crowd going thats for sure.

We desperately need a CB to play alongside Mbemba and a left back, then we should look at a striker and replacing Sissoko I think.

Top quality DM and GK in the summer maybe?
