check the data update in the editor see what date the players are set to for transfers and loans

the data sets players to new clubs in 2023  not 2024

so starting in 2024 using it means the first season has been played

As usual you are spot on my friend 

we do similar things as I know, and I never use the vanilla game rules.  I want a fairer set up its bad enough in real life to see the same so called ‘big’ teams in the same comps over and over and its getting worse, so I address that.

But it takes days of editing[not easy when the editor itself is awful, God help how this will be in FM25] to set up new structures etc, like you I had spent a lot of time on international comps setting all to be played in summer windows so no disruption to club football during the season,extra World cups for teams who dont qualify to the main event so all countries get a chance to compete in major comps, however now that looks like a waste of time if you cant manage an international team.

some are taking the addition of the women's game as why the International management option is being scrapped, that isnt the case at all

IMO as you have hinted at they are having major problems it has been too quiet, there probably is an issue that they cant/wont invest anymore time in resolving with international management and they are well behind already.

FM24 was billed as the start of being able to carry over save games from the previous version, so that will prove interesting, start an international save in FM24, will it be playable in 25…sounds like a no

I enjoy the womens game more than the mens, I coached girls football and had a vested interest in it, both my daughters played one at representative International youth grade level.

 I see the male game especially the EPL as a soulless exercise in corporate greed now,  but I am not going to make stereotypes about someone who follows it.

Your other points are valid SI dont really care, they have enough people who want to play it as there is no alternative.

 If there was they would have to provide a much better product than it is now, they are basically phoning it in most years.

IMO the women's side will be separate from the men,

I would suggest you will have the option to pick to play as you do with nations/leagues now but also decide if you want to load female leagues as well

so it will be a users choice you wont be forced to having it unless you want to, but other features being dropped due to there being this option is  BS 

that wont be the reason, they are having issues and they are running out of time to release this 'new' version with the fanfare around it.

I was looking forward to giving the women's game a go at international level but SI ….well less said the better

The issue with International management no longer playable is a disgrace and the reason for stopping it utter BS

the issue is the there is no competitor and so SI have the market to themselves and it appears they dont really care about the loyal customers

especially us on the editing side…if testing is delayed on the game then the editor will be…. lol

 some people will keep buying it because there is no other option, but there will be many taking a wait and see approach this year

What did we expect they have had the current format for a decade + and it is nowhere near as good as it should be 

year on year it is released with a load of bugs and it has become the accepted norm it wont be fully patched until March the following year.That isnt good enough.

The new rules are a bit different and impossible to achieve in the current editor,IMO

 I have used advanced rules for years and set up many complex files, I currently use my own UEFA structure/World Cup+extra WC for teams who dont make the main WC etc etc 

IMO what you are looking to do isnt possible with the editor[I stand to be corrected]

several of the rules needed are hidden/hardcoded SI have disabed /hidden feaures within the editor they use which we do not have access to 

if it was groups it is easy to achieve 

but it is now a league with not all teams playing each other

you end up with this below which frankly is mind blowing as a fixture set up

@banditeleven think you need to clarify in the opening post that this file is not the actual fixtures/results for 24/25 season

perhaps put some screenshots up etc

it is the correct fixtures but played a year early so it is the 24/25 season games in EPL BUT played in 23/24 as some users do not fully understand this

also FYI  You will find issues with times later in the file

you cannot set up the real fixtures for 24/25 you have to do as this file is 

start in 2023 pretending it is the 24/25 season

you need to be very careful what you are alleging as footygamer states there is no financial link between the sites in any way

I suggest you are trying to do 2 separate things 

you are trying to use a custom start date where it isnt needed, or using multiple files that are clashing

also the data update here does this

 it doesnt put Mbape in Madrid on 1/7/24

can you provide more information with your files its good you are sharing them but please be clear what they are and how to use them

 you may also have to change the transfer rules in nation

some nations have multiple loan rule options so make sure you are allowed to be able to sign X amount of loans per season you can stipulate if this is domestic/foreign/any etc

I have the old Home Championship re started and want England B to play. This works fine apart from a minor annoyance the AI still wants to pick some of the top English players like Kane/Bellingham and the usual GKs

No problems as I can use FMRTE to swap players in/out of the squad 

what I would like input with is who would you suggest should be part of a 30 man squad a mix of young uncapped players and some older stalwarts who wont get a full cap but deserve to get a call up to this squad. Can even be a few from the Championship, but not a full Mike Bassett job 😀

I do not follow the EPL really so your input would be appreciated who you would pick/think would be in that squad

I take this to mean you want to play as actually being him?

you cant ‘’takeover'' being him he is already in the game as an AI manager- you cant become him and control him

you could add yourself as a manager called Arne Slot and play that way but of course you wouldnt have his history etc but you would need to retire the original Slot or change his name etc

but you cant ‘play’ as a character already in the game that is not possible

However- if you want the  Arne Slot to move to Liverpool in a save game you can just transfer him there using the IGE

 [there wont be any missing players getting added to the data update]

if you want missing players added to FM23 you will need to do them yourself mate in the editor or find a Mod where someone is updating FM23

so I will move this to editors forum,as its nothing to do with the data update which is for FM24 only and doesnt deal with this

you initially posted the download as if it is your work

you havent sought permission to use those files in this way prior to doing so and some of the creators of the actual work state not to do this

 you didnt even credit someone else's work without being prompted to do so

so closing and removing the download at this stage

will discuss how this is dealt with

In creating the save have you given them credit etc perhaps you need to list any files used in the description 

having you sought their permission first

I am scratching my head  now as the nation/club schedule tab in game only shows stadium if I select Milla as the display option here

[note we can see now venue isnt stadium it is for stating if it is home/away/neutral]

Milla  is only found in one file in the skin

and I cant find anything there to assist

you may have cracked it brilliant

 I dont have access to game at moment but was going to check later the match folder next 

and then search for Milla  as that is the custom option to show the stadium/venue in that schedule page

Thanks for trying I have been looking for the schedule page too

if you enter schedule in the search tab here it throws out many options but none are what I looking for

if I can see how the stadium is set up on this page  belowI can adapt it to use
