That nation that is showing blank is the nation with an edited rules file?

This has happened to me before using xml files that havent been verified in the editor(there is a trick to get the file to pass the loading test by removing a line of code in the xml file)

what I did to resolve go to that nation in add/remove leagues if its ticked untick it then tick again 

now when you go pack to the page as shown above you can change view to playable the only draw back is all leagues in the nation will be loaded

the test date doesnt mean the rules wont work after that its just the editor testing the new rules for conflicts

Also state what editing has been done normal/advanced rule editing and what the file is

 eg a Continental Super League for so called ‘elite’ clubs- Teams removed/banned from UEFA comps now  taking part in fixed league structure with no promotion/relegation on an annual basis - in Beta testing

If you have an issue with editing also state which version of the Database you are using and what format your file is in xml/fmf

Also post the FULL content of your editor data folder -[mainly because there are so many times users are stating they have issues but its just caused by them trying to run obviously conflicting files ]

 please post the image/s into your post directly, I for one am not risking downloading an image to my system when it is simple to post the image directly into your post as explained above- copy image + paste 

as said my friend I havent used it myself but worth a try I think it was possibly 2018/19 when I read someone was testing this and it worked well for them hope it does for you

just do a test and report back 🤞 run a holiday test in game hope it works

can also add/change the language too

so a region like Santa Catarina change Nation to Germany

The cities will still stay in Brazil

IIRC A few years ago someone did this by moving some of the local regions to a different country  [so for you some south Brazil regions/or all have set to Germany/Italy]

Then regens/newgens would become dual nationals then🤞

 When you have the region in a different nation than the city, it will give you the nation of the city as the players primary nation and the nation of the region as his secondary nation, and they should be eligible for both countries.

its something I have not used but sure this proved to be successful ,hope it helps you. Have a play around and report back how it goes😉

Submitting a file/mod for Download

When you have a File/Mod to share please when starting a new thread use the DOWNLOAD option to start the new thread. Please add as much information as possible and use screenshots etc to show what the file/mod is about[feedback from users is they are skeptical to download anything without information to do on and I agree with this]

Thanks for using the site to host your work it is appreciated but please note to use the site YOU MUST upload the file/s directly here it shouldnt be just a link to another site in order to download the file/s, so it should look like this when the Thread is saved- with the Download direct from here

I would also suggest putting a brief description of where the file/mod needs to be placed (use the details above if you wish)

Also if the file is not your work you have to state who originally created it and that you have their permission to upload it on their behalf you need to tag them into the thread if they are a member here or give a link to where the author can be contacted.

 If you have used another persons file and edited it/adapted it the same criteria applies- it will not be tolerated if a user is found passing other people's work off as theirs own, and they will be dealt with by staff accordingly.

General Posts

When you have an issue or just seeking some advice, and want input from staff/users on the forum please give enough information when initially posting so you can receive the help/feedback that is appropriate and to make sure your thread is posted in the correct forum-Forums have a brief description at the top, most are obviously self explanatory.

To do this when starting a new thread now select Discussion-

Please post in English I know it is not everyone's natural language so you translate if you need to.

The information should include the version of the game/editor you are using(ideally in the title) and it is required for you to clarify in the post the EXACT version eg Football Manager 2019 - 19.3.3 (1202861) and if you are a Beta tester for SI[AS YOU WILL BE USING A VERSION WE DO NOT HAVE] also if using Windows/Mac and any other platforms xbox etc.

Please use the search function here too first as there are many occasions where users are creating threads with no need when the same issue/question has been already raised and answered. If you create unnecessary threads they will be closed deleted at the discretion of staff.

Use screenshots to assist with your question/issue. I use Gyazo- it is free easy and quick to use, and when posting an image just copy and paste it directly into your post,  post the image not the link to download it, do not expect others to have to download something to assist you,  when it should be displayed here, its easy to do so please follow this.

If you have a few points don't post as one big paragraph break it up so it's easy to read.

You can now post images directly to a thread there is no need to use links or to expect others to download an image just to see it to assist you  , just right click copy image and paste it directly in your post.

If you are having issues with a file not working you need to list all other files you are using too[screenshot of editor data folder would be better and quicker]


(when using third party content be careful as some do not tell you all the changes in their files and they can cause conflicts if you are running another file with similar changes, best option open any third party file in the editor and physically check what changes have been made

eg I have used files that are supposedly just for 'missing wonderkids' on opening the file the creator had also made changes to teams and other club/european changes that would have caused conflicts with my other files later in game)

 NB sometimes you get duplicate players in game because of this as 'missing' players may have been added to various files and so the game will just give the player concerned a different random unique ID.

After you have received some feedback especially if it is advice can you report back on the thread if that worked for you not just out of courtesy but for future reference for us/other users.


When a thread is closed if users have further comments to add to the thread just PM a mod/staff member and we can reopen it at any time if it is required.

Requests and posting etiquette.

Please note staff here are involved in various projects that take up our time along with moderating the forums and assisting with the live update/graphics etc so you may have to wait for an answer.

Can there be a bit of etiquette too on the forums when users are making a request etc it is not much to ask to use a bit of manners- a please/thank you goes a long way.

 Remember the person you are asking a question or making a request to  is helping you so its not much to ask to be polite most users are really good but some are being rude/entitled/demanding and this needs to stop. Once you have posted DO NOT post duplicate/similar posts/threads on the same issue/question or post in threads not related to your issue, as they will be considered spamming the forums.

Also anyone who is seen hassling/pressurizing  another user to do something for them or making someone feel guilty because they wont take on other projects and or being rude because it isnt done instantly, will have their posts removed and or receive a warning at the discretion of staff .

So to be clear-There are to be no undue demands on individuals who have already put a lot of time and effort into creating files/updates to share with the community this particularly includes by PM too, ask questions on the forums.

 There is a reason why this message/prompt👇 has been added before you send a PM.Users who ignore this will receive warnings at the discretion of staff.

 and only users using the xbox platform can say if it is possible

 I suggest you ask/search on the SI forums for this format- I think it has its own forum now

IIRC Microsoft have locked the part allowing users to ad Mods but that may have changed now but I doubt it has

The league schedule is always there in a pre existing league structure its under the stages tab as shown in the advanced rules thread

 you need to put up screenshots and state what version of DB you are editing etc if you cant find it and NB you can copy and paste an image direct to your post 😉

NB you need to report that crash to SI so  they can give you a resolution

those are the default rules from SI

It may be worth also looking at the Fixture time and rules tab too

check the tabs below Fixture time and rules - general/maximum match days etc etc

In the fixture time tab perhaps enter times there make sure these times are the same as previously entered or the game could default to the original rules

Also check there isnt more than one set of rules for a competition [sometimes there are several usually for future seasons ] if so you have to edit these but to save time you can copy your earlier changes and paste them in the extra rules

Another thing check the Additional Helpers tab as there may be even even more rules to change KO times there too especially for Covid rules/dates moved for World Cup 2022

The advanced rules can be complex and the drop down menus lengthy 

you need to take time and have a good look around if you are not au fait with them it took me months to get on top of it

the section is this one- league schedule- check all the tabs below general/match days tv dates etc to see if there are any times in there

I will update the sticky thread too, but it is impossible to get the full drop down menu in a screenshot

you need to report that to SI and upload the crash dump error 

copy what you have done from your posts here too and perhaps they can provide input as changing those times as I outlined should work unless SI have some hard coded rules which is over ruling them

Brandon Cooper called into Welsh squad due to injuries to a few CBs he is considered a prospect at Swansea, but has only made 1 appearance for Swans IIRC and that was in League Cup, he has done well on loan and this may be just to give him experience with the senior squad but it shows how Wales are down to the bare bones at the back(excuses in early😁)

yes mate sounds like a spammer alright 

it happens over at FMRTE we had a batch of accounts going back to almost 10 years that started spamming on mass at one stage but protocols in place stopped it in its tracks 😉

Hi @mons  had similar thing yesterday too with another user did the links have anything in them like- minecraft dungeons mod if so its spam I marked that user as a spammer and banned him, one link Norton anti virus blocked as suspicious

Or use pre game editor to add them

Just edit the finances accordingly perhaps add a transfer ban load the debt etc
