Do I need the pre-game editor for this or can I simply put the editor file in the editor data folder?

So all I need to do is put the config file in the new folder in the existing one and that's it?

No need to do anything with the new pics then?

Hey, sorry if this is always asked but;

 

I downloaded the complete pack for the faces a few weeks ago and would now like to download just the latest update pack. I have done this but I am now just stuck on what the next steps are and what I need to do with the folder for the latest changes?

The installation instructions say it's a different folder:

 

Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive

By default this folder is hidden, so to access you need to do as follows:

Open Finder
Click ‘Go’ from the menubar
Press and hold down the ‘Option’ (Alt) key
This will bring up the ‘Library’, click to enter then go to ‘Application Support’ -> ‘Sports Interactive’ -> ‘Football Manager 2022’

This should be what your editor data folder looks like now. There may initially be a config.xml file in this folder and it can be safely overwritten; it is generated by FM every time the game starts.

 

that's so bloody weird, when i searched for “editor data” on my mac that didnt show up there and give me the other path, i knew it was hidden but not that bloody well. sorted now anyway, thanks for ur help lad!

What's there prior to the Football Manager 22 folder?

i believe this is the right file path for the editor files on mac;

That looks to be the full complement of editor data files. Can I see the full path of the folder it's in? Remember, those fixes will only work if you apply them before starting a save game.

 

yeah absolutely. i have tried a few times, done it all correctly and triple checked the files. looks all right to me but still getting the same issue even after starting various save games.

 

on mac so not sure if the file path makes any sense to you but here it is

hey mons, thanks for all of your work and help on this, rly helps a lot of people out me included.

 

bit of a strange one but i've followed the instructions to a tee a few times now, got all the right files in the right places but still have trouble with ajax and flick. ten hag is the manager which is fine but still no other staff and absolutely no sight of hans dieter flick?
