I believe i have found the problem [had the same issues]. when you download the files for backgrounds it opens up as if you've already extracted them so i just cut the folder and pasted it into backgrounds folder, problem is its still compressed so won't work so if you look near the top of the folder when it opens theres the option to extract use that and select the folder you want and it should the work.

i think many times you had the same silly questions - the same silly solutions but i does not get it managed so far:

I tried everything with Flut Dark Skin or SAS24.NOV.
But graphic packs were not loaded at all:

all the graphics were not loaded! as you can see in the Finder screenshot : the “graphics” folder is present and the pictures in the sub folders as well.

the screen is in German language but you can see that i followed the instructions how to enable all the pictures within the sub folders.
Please advise what i maybe do wrong. thank you very much for your answers.

I have the same problem with Flut Skin but only with all back grounds, faces and icons working fine

Can anyone tell me how its calculated for whose the favourites to win matches? I'm currently Leicester and so far I've played Man Utd, Tottenham and Chelsea and my assistants advice before the game is to tell my players were favourites to win.

Is this a bug? or is my assistant not very good lol?

Hi danny: It seems you still have the wrong "overlay,png" . Maybe you are playing with zoom. If this is the reason, go to skin/graphics/pictures/kits/2d/outfield(back/zoomed/large and duplicate the transparent kit named overlay and rename this new png as overlay@2x
Overwrite the overlay@2x who is in the folder (I didn't the overlay for zoom play).

Adding or removing editor data files after starting a new game makes no difference to that save. I'm afraid you either have to accept those changes or start a new game altogether...

Thanks very much for that suggestion: I tried it with TextWrangler (even writing a totally fresh file) but still no success! I'm at giving-up point on this. The strange thing is that all of the graphics files I've brought across from Windows work fine; it's just when I try to edit anything on the Mac that it instantly becomes unreadable.

Strange, I had the exact same problem but TextWrangler solved it for me. Have you selected as the default program? other than that I've no idea

Thanks so much for your help, and for reworking that file for me. Unfortunately, still no success after the renaming - have had the .PNG problem before on a windows laptop, but am working on a mac and it seems to have a lower-case .png extension. Any other thoughts?

Use TextWrangler to write your config file on Mac, i moved all my files from windows and if you try to edit them for some reason the game wont recognise them and textwrangler is the only thing i found that would open and edit the file and still make it readable.

Mine crashes as well.

I found that it appears to be random as i played quite a few games and then it just crashed, i loaded fm skin and got by that game and then reverted to flut and its been fine since that (touch wood).
