Hey, i tried to add the XML Data Changes for FM 22 in FM 21 but the game says its not compactible…what should i do??

You have to use the file (XML) as shown in the picture, just try to check off all database files for testing purposes. Also add the older XML files.

Please let me know how it went. With the FM 17 all these XML files work, it may be that SI has changed that with the newer games, but I doubt that.

OK, thanks again,so to be clear if i load up FM2018 and use the data updates i will receive all the transfers that occured in 2018 ?, is that correct, or am i being stupid lol

Haha, no i think rather smart because asking questions is a smart thing. Yes you receive the transfer updates from the file, if it is a final update then every transfer is in the file. If is it not a final update then there are some transfers missing. But if you put also the FM 19 until FM 22, then you have almost every transfer update from the previous seasons and the current season.

Ah OK so you have to have the original FM Games installed lol, which i do have, but like you said why change from FM22, although it is always good to go back and look at the older players again !!

I meant more that the FM22 still receives transfers updates.

Regarding the old "data updates", they can hardly be found. So the reason why these "data updates" are so important is that you can use them in the older FM games and there is a lot of transfers update, which would normally cost a lot of work and so you get in FM 16 to FM 21 a 2022/2023 season. Also when FM 23 is coming, the XML file for FM 23 can still be used for the older FM games, this way the older FM games can still be used in combination with the other XML files.

Finally, there are many people who simply love classic FM games like no data feature haha, or using the 2D (3D).

i cant get this to work in fm 22 it keeps saying the files are not compatible with FM22, how do i get round this so these files work, ive tried all of them and none of them work, any help pls ?

Thats true, its works only on the older FMs. But why do you need older transfers?
