The pic that you uploaded is wayyyyy to small to have it look good when I stretch it out to the size the game needs it to be. Ideally, the pic needs to be AT LEAST 180x180 around the face to be a workable photograph to cut out and have it look great. We can stretch out slightly smaller pics with some success, but this pic is just too small to be workable and be visually okay or worth the effort it would take to get this right.
If you have another (larger) pic, I'd be happy to help. If you don't, I'll see what I can do with this pic, but I don't want to invest an hour into something that will not be great and you'd probably not use it --- so I figured it'd best to inquire if you have a larger one instead.

Did two for you as well, the First is just your pic cut out, nothing touched:
In the second, I upped the contrast a touch, darkened the whole pic slightly, and dropped the overall vibrancy of the pic a touch to get rid of the bold reds and greens (matches the cutout style much more):

In the second pic, I dropped the blue in your face (figured that wasn't your natural tone) and made the shirt a bit more balanced by reducing the green that was due to the contrast on the wall behind you:

Got a pic where a third of your head isn't cut off by the edge of the pic? Otherwise, it'll just look like a really bad cut job. Also, the top-down angle of the pic will also be a bit of a challenge to make it look right.
If not, I'll see what I can do.

Did two for you --- the pic was very tough to work with, I am assuming that you are wearing a turtleneck in it, so I invented the left shoulder to fit the style and angle of the pic. The first pic is just your pic cut out, without any editing to color whatsoever:
The second pic is obviously corrected for the insane amount of blue in the pic (so much that it washed out your face in blue). I am guessing that you have some Asian genetics and went with a flesh tone that I thought was more life-like than your blue face:
Let me know which you prefer and if you need me touch up the color a bit as the blue in the pic made it impossible to get a skin tone off of it that I could comfortably nail down with any certainty.

I did two for you, the top one is the pic cut out, without any mods to the color or lighting.
The second is a bit tweeked on the shading, which I thought gave a more realistic color depth to your natural skin tone - Plus it comes with the added benefit of the Arsenal Blue on the collar standing out a bit more.

If you didn't reverse Google image that to find out who that was, I would accuse you of some sort of witchcraft.
Perhaps it really is Josh Ginnelly from Shrewsbury Town FC posting that pic here and perhaps he thinks his gaffer isn't playing him in his preferred position often enough and he's going to use FM to prove it.

well, it was there, but kinda funky-ish. Looks like you tried adjusting the height of the pic and squashed your face:
here's what I was able to do with it to recover it:
I put some color into the face, removed the red because re-stretching the canvas gave too much red into other areas. Dropped the blue a tick as well so you didn't have a ton of blue-grey streaks in your hair where the light gives off a reflection. Hope you don't mind that I fucked with the pic a bit, but I did my best to make it look right.

Holy Shit this is the toughest pic I have tried to cut. I invented your hairstyle a bit as half of it was completely washed out by the identical black background.

And this is my folder...
I have UID's in this config that work (non-regens) and ones that don't (regens) -- I have even tried adjusting the ".png" for case sensitivity. Nothing works. Do you think I should just separate out the two types into different folders and config? That shouldn't matter though. Or does it?

I have replaced images using this pack for non-regens without any problems. I used the default config.xml file that Mons provided on the original post. Now, using the same config.xml file, I have added the needed lines of code to replace images for the regens. I have used the same folder for both the regen and the non-regens to hold the pics in, I have renamed all the pics to their respective UID's. The lines of code for both the regens and the non-regens are in the same config.xml file. Yet, I cannot get the regen pics to appear in-game. The non-regens work just fine, however.
I have tried everything that I can think of to solve my issue, but to no avail.
Any takers on this issue?
