I don't suppose you (or anyone) has this kit with the red/alternative shorts?

 

Appriciate it's late in the season, but I thought I had seen the alternative shorts image a while back….but guessing not lol!!!!

I'm happy to announce that English Premier league is (sort of) completed (in a sense that all team have at least home and away kit) and it's now available for download:

Please note:

• you should start your game with in-game editor enabled, otherwise you won't be able to add upcoming third kits
• you should use provided fmf file (instructions in readme) to sort colors for 23/24 season
• fmf file in this and SS pack is the same, but after several updates one might be newer - check the date of the file
• lower leagues will be added when I make them (championship soon, others less soon)
• I'm aware some third kits are missing, no need to point it out

Take it easy with requests guys. I don't want to be rude but I don't pay attention to them. If I made Arsenal away, then Manchester United or City would be requested so it's always someone requesting something. From my perspective people want all the kits to be done at once and that is not possible obviously. 

 

I'd also like to point something out. Complex patterns and graphics are now in full fashion in football kits. It was never harder to make them. Comparing to 5 years ago when I only had few challenges in higher leagues, now 4 out of 5 kits are complex and the trend has spread to lower leagues as well. Just take a look at Fleetwood, Spennymoor, Boston, Carlisle, Morecambe and so on. Some nasty kits await in levels 6. 

Not only there are complex patterns on kits, there are also 3D reliefs and bumps on kits from Nike, Umbro and Adidas which are hard to figure out and they require some pictures from particular angle.

My pattern folder has already 80 files for this season and I'm only half done. So the average time needed for a kit has pretty much doubled. The usual release of Premier league in mid august is in question. Early septembar is more likely.

 

So guys, arm yourselves with patience, be assured no kit is forgotten. If you think it's taking to long, blame the manufacturer who made it overly complicated. Arsenal and Liverpool are pretty high on my to-do list so no need to request them anymore.

 

One last thing, even though I work on English kits, it's perfectly fine if other kit makers make a kit here and there, I will note it as made by others and not make a double until the pack is done. There was a solid work on Chelsea home recently so things like that will shorten the wait time. 

 

You just take your time dude - 99.9% of people fully understand the time and effort you and other kit makers put in, and also have the patience to wait….it will be the same 0.1% of people who would complain and/or pester if kits were rushed and want tweaking left, right and centre!

I had the exact same problem - and turned out to be the ‘config’ file from the stadiums background megapack - https://sortitoutsi.net/graphics/style/17/sortitoutsi-backgrounds-megapack

The entire pack had one config file covering all the various graphics/folders - and if you go into the config file its a bit of a mind-field…..so I think there must be a command or line in the config file that is overrulling the default background interface which has only surfaced during the release update of FM23.

 

Assuming you have the same problem as me, simply remove the stadiums folder from ‘graphics' and reload the skin - see if that sorts the problem out.

 

I'd assume the problem going forward if you want to use these backgrounds would need to be looked into by the background megapack creators.

 

I guess this is the problem with re-using old config files from past FM releases lol.

Images arent the best quality for the Richmond kits as they were taken from a recently released popular football game that rhymes with "bleeper plenty tea"….but you get the gist!! 😁

Based on the rumour that Nike are making the AFC Richmond kits for the next season of the show I have created some kits based on some leaked images

Any chance the ‘Home’ colours could be a little lighter, and also the ‘Away’ altered as per picture attached? Also add the ‘Third’ if you get chance ;-)

sadly it is bugged to hell! trying to change some kit colours etc and it wont change what i want it to change! have reported it to SI… is there anything else we can do? thanks

 

I have the same issue as I like to edit some kit colours before starting a new game. I found the issue to be related to the ‘sort’ coloums. So for example, if I was to edit Man Utds kits, I would normaly sort the kits by ‘Type’ (not sure why, just always do) and in the new editor if a change the ‘forground’ colour of the text item it would end up changing the forground colour of the item above (in my case the alt socks)….and so on!

 

I found if I sorted the kit items by the ‘Example’ column ascending (arrow up) it would allow me to edit the colours as normal for the correct item.

 

Annoying but seemed to work for me.

Ok so I know nothing about XML or how it works but I managed to fix this problem with some trial and error: 

 

1. Open the XML file in Notepad
2. Go to line 6 where you should see <string value="21.4.0"/>
3. Add after that line the following: </list>
4. Save the document

This fixed the problem for me and I can select the data file in the dropdown menu. Hope this helps

Apologies if this has already been mentioned before, but the ‘Italy Leagues’ data file doesnt seem to work/load when creating a New Game in FM21. All the other data files are fine, but when creating a new game, I heard the classic Windows chime, as if there was a error. When looking at the database dropdown list on the setup page, the ‘Italy Leagues’ data file was missing.

 

I tried to import this database using the FM Editor and I got the following error:
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have looked at line 197 in the ata file XML but nothing stands out to me, and copared it with the other XML files.

 

This still happens after downloading the most recnt update.

 

Again apoogies if this has already been discussed but couldnt see it anywhere and not sure if it is an issue others are experiencing.

I think they've got it right in fairness - it's a two tone ‘camouflage’ type pattern, and depending on the picture it looks like it swaps between the two as the primary colour. Looking at match photos the graphic used looks spot on in comparison to me in most: 

 

i think the original edit of this kit may have been based on an early leak, based on when the pack was originally made and when the kit was officially released, and i agree during the match the two-tone camo affect does differ, but thats depends on natural light or stadium lighting etc….giving it a much ligher look than it is, which is something you see a lot with yellow kits during night time matches under stadium ligjting. Being an owner of this shirt myself it is naturally a bit darker, more of a very mild gold/orange hue…..

Hi @hammer9 - any chance you could update the Wales Away kit - the one in the pack is a lighter shade in comparison to the actual kit….

Very nice skin.

I have noticed, when in a match, the opposition name in the scorebaord picks up the competition foreground colour. For example, I changed the English Premier League colours to Pink and Purple, so the oppositions name displays in purple and a little hard to see. Other competitions such as Caraboa cup, the oppostion team name is in white, as that is the default forground colour of the competition. My team and the score, and in your skin's default green, so would it be possible for the opposition team name to be in green also? I have added a couple of screenshots....
