Nope, any graphics pack that gets put on makes it crash, whether its badges or facepacks or what have you. Although it IS possible to install a data change, because I have the sortitoutsi data update installed and there hasn't been a single crash.

Without actually seeing the contents of your graphics folder, there's not much I can say with certainty about what could the issue, though I suspect it is the case that there is an installation error with some files. Can't help you much more, I'm afraid


Well right now it's empty. But even when I just try to install the facepack, it still won't function. What can I show to you to help?

Yea it loads fine when I have no graphical mods installed..well, so far, im only about 6 weeks into the season but no crashes so far...no other graphics mods installed at the moment, though before I was using Metallic logos.

I'm afraid I haven't. It's a bit strange that this problem started so spontaneously When something like that happens, it's usually after the user installs the files incorrectly.

Is there a particular trigger for the crash to happen?


Well I can't even start a game really. As soon as I try to continue, it crashes.

So I had been using the Facepack for a long time, since the beta. One day, my game just started crashing. Now I can only play on vanilla, no addons. Even just adding the Facepack causes the game to crash.The weird thing is, the crashes didn't happen after a patch or an update, it just happened one day. Have you ever heard of this happening?

If it was really something to do with the number of files in the folder, then other users would have reported the issue and that has not been the case.

I don't think there'll be a problem as such if some files don't copy, but the same issue will surely rear its head when future packs are released, no?


Yea, I think that's not the case...even with the huge number of files, its still less than 8 gb..ok thanks anyway

That's strange. I'm assumed you've also tried restarting your system. Could you try to download the update pack again and then try to transfer these files again? Perhaps the download was somehow corrupted on the way down.

I don't use a Mac, but I tried Googling your symptoms and found this. Not sure if it helps...


Yea restart didnt help. Mac support said it had something to do with the number of files in the megapack folder. So i copied the new config file over first...will there be a problem if i cant copy over all the photos from 7.01? Because some work and some dont.

That's strange. That's never happened to me Do you have FM or Steam loaded perchance? Try copying the files when one/both are not loaded...


Yea I closed bother, then I restarted, still no change..the weird thing is, some pics can be transferred, and others cant..if I pick and choose one or two at a time, it works with some but then Finder (im on a Mac) crashes when i try to move others..

I have 7.0 installed already, and it was working fine, and then I decided I wanted to add 7.01 and 7.02...but when i try to copy the pics from 7.01 into the big folder, it says it can't because some of the files are busy any idea about this?

EDIT: Exact error message: "The selected items can't all be put into the same location, because at least one of them name '43141847.png' is busy."
