It depends. If there's a list of missing players in 24.3 then may work on that.

I think so, but you need to add players that are removed from 24.2 and remove players that are duplicated in 24.3 (haven't check that yet but based on past experience there may be a few around).

forget my previous message, they confirmed that even with the next update the Japanese db will remain updated on November 17, 2023 due to licensing issues

 

 

This is hilarious. One can start a new J-League season with last year squad.

 

In this sense what I can do most is to add the players missing in the 24.4 update but in no way that can be used as a playable league setup.

If someone can post a list of the missing players in J-League for 24.3, I may give a go if that list is not long. This time I'll pass the non-players as that is very time consuming given those are very inaccurate/incompleted even after the update.

Does this db work in Real World mode? (e.g. Juan Mata joined Vissel Kobe on Sept 3, 2023).

 

I'm afraid not as I didn't key in the past transfer tab. My work is most suitable for starting a standard game world.

As promised, I have released the first version of my work. Please move to here for details and download.

Giving you guys a heads up: version 1.0 of my work should be ready some time tomorrow.

I've finished all J1 and several J2 teams at the moment. Aim to complete about half of the J2 teams by the end of next week so can release a beta verison for using J-League as a background league.

I feel I'm obliged to provide an update on my work: so far finished 5 out of the 60 J-League clubs, put in all staff changes/additions for the senior team and the U-teams to the extent possible. Progress not bad but obviously need some time to tidy the mess.

After some thoughts, I decided to build a new file from stratch as the non-player changes and additions are quite massive after finishing a few clubs. Indeed, my work will also cover changes to club info (e.g. affiliations, club rivals etc.) and the addition of senior players in the first place given these are of utmost importance for a reasonably realistic J-League settings. Junior players (e.g. dual registered U-team youngsters and JFA designated players) may be added later.

 

I'll keep you guys posted.

Finished the big name players with full attributes and histories etc. Now moving to review and update the added players and staff club by club. After working on a few I can tell you the staff section is a complete mess - seems the official researcher(s) stopped update anything on that bit since 2021 so SI incorporated data of 2 years ago for a heavily promoted league addition!

 

Need some time to navigate but not far to get there. 

I'm going to add details (e.g. histories, attributes etc.) to the players added in this file. First will start with more famous players, followed by local regular players and U-team youngsters.

New pic is of much better quality.

If needed I can shrink one scale to take more collar.

I've cropped the image before removing the background, but don't know if this is okay as the collar is taking quite a lot of space at the bottom.

Pretty sure that this should be okay! A bit collar at the bottom!

Come on man, it was only a few hours ago I explained every cut is to have a collar and how this can be achieved @johnloch, and the third time in a few weeks. Do I really need to repeat that with every cut you upload, or are you going to start uploading cuts which follow the guidelines without me prompting you all the time?

 

I've tried hard but not able to include the collar based on his only clear mugshot. Can you help on this?

Can we have the original source for this cut without the background removed @johnloch? It's cropped too far from the chin and needs the colours adjusted, and it's easier to do so directly from the source image.

Cool. Thanks for your advice. I'm a newbie to these so your help is most helpful. Unfortunately I'm using some free online editor. Can't find one that comes with a rotate function yet.

2019/20 Pre-Season



Not expecting much from the Board this season, so will aim to rebuild the squad by drawing in some non-contracts and offloading some high-paid players if possible.



Won all but one friendlies, that only defeat was handed by the (currently) strongest team in the town. Still a decent scoreline for us though.



Decided to keep our formation and tactic simple, so adopted a traditional 4-4-2 with some minor tweaks on the left.

Our key players at my arrival:

MC Josh Ashby



Signed up Howard Gayle as our Chief Scout. This is for us the most important as I can only rely on him and our DoF for new players.


Given the stringent wage budget, we are only able to sign up two free agents after my arrival based on the backroom staff's recommendation.


Have some high hope on DMC Romario Vieria, a Leeds academy product which seems over-matched at the 6th tier. Will pair with Ashby in the middle of the field.

All parts are in order, so let's kick start the 2019/20 season!

A thin squad with no real prospect in the pipeline. Just a few hundreds quid headroom for wages. Imposed a house rule that only players scouted by the Chief Scout or the DoF of his own accord can be signed.
