#37072 SS' Fantasy Kits Request Thread (NO REAL KITS)
nathenmcvittie
I recently started up a lifestyle brand of a team (Brookhattan) from the USA founded in 1933. They folded in the 60's, but had a number of Hall of Famers.
Wondering if anyone could make me a stylish looking modern kit with a retro feel, based off their original colors.
I designed the logo (attached), and I'll quote the info found about their jerseys.
"In 1945 ...lists their colors as "Purple and Gold Jerseys with four-inch gold band around middle." Their alternate jersey was maroon.
By 1948, their jersey had black and yellow vertical stripes. No mention of their shorts or an alternate jersey.
By 1956, they still had the black and yellow verticals, but listed their alternate jersey as blue and white stripes (did not indicate dark or light or horizontal or vertical.)"
I was thinking the home kit could be purple and gold, with the band around the middle, away could be either an invert or the maroon that is listed. Alternate could be black and yellow (or gold) vertical stripes. If you guys are up for it, feel free to experiment. Not sure if anyone will even have a crack at this, but if you do -- thanks! Might be a fun one to play around with.
The sponsor logo would look good as this.. feel free to change colours if needed, or leave out altogether if you think looks much better! https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/165890_274753275965685_1764680294_n.jpg
Feel free to play around as you wish! Vertical stripes on the alternate might look good like Barca did theirs last season? Not sure.
Thanks again!

PS. Like the team on Facebook (more info there too).. http://www.facebook.com/brookhattan
