Quite happy with the start of the group, beating Panama 6-0 was good for my points.
Last 2 games however were completely and utterly shameful, never seen such terrible performances by a squad...
Poland in the 2nd round wasn't much better and against Sweden I even needed extra time to win.
The draw handed me Argentina and I was sure this was it - but no fear, Vardy's here!
Kane injured himself in the QF, forcing me to use my back-up, who had an absolute stormer and scored a hattrick in the first half.
The final came (still without Kane, who was back in training but only 75% fitness), which saw Rashford and Alli scoring to bring the trophy home!
Points:
50 (WC Winner) + 5 (Golden Boot) + 36 (18 goals) = 91 - not too shabby at all
Gonna reply the first 7 challenges just for fun to see how I'll fare - I love these things

So... Guess that makes 20 (Quali) + 25 (CHAN Winner) + 20 (WC Quarter Final) + 5 (Germany) + 5 (Golden Boot) = 75 points
Had a lot of luck with the WC Group, but beating Germany in the 2nd round... Completely amazing....
Quarter Final against Spain, I was up 1-0 within 10 minutes, they equalised 10 minutes later.
The match was even, untill they started attacking in the last 15 minutes or so...
Extra time was nailbiter, with the goal coming in the 111th minute thanks to a penalty which media later claimed was 'not a penalty'......
England-challenge is next, curious if that'll go just as fine...
