@Daniel Ewe, try and have your cuts in the middle of the canvas please.

If you really like it here, then just follow the guidelines that we have. Oh, and stop constantly demanding our attention.

This is, what, your 20th account? I have absolutely no faith things will be any different in this instance. You may or may not start well, then you'll start doing what you want and ignore the guidelines yet again. We'll ban you, then you'll create a new account, and we'll start the whole process again.
Follow the rules, like everyone else, or go away for good please.

We'd need a photo of him not looking away from the camera to get a good cut from it đ

@Andreacaruso This isn't a bad cutout, but you should take care to avoid the shoulders being cut off before the edge of the canvas (below is another example, showing the gaps between where the shoulders are cut off and the edge of the canvas).
All you need to do is be sure you don't crop the source image too narrowly before putting it through remove.bg, so that you have enough shoulder width to work with. If the original source is cropped already, just use clone stamp to recreate the missing bits.
Also, brightening darker images like this one always looks better in-game. The easiest way is to go to this tab in Photoshop:
and tweak the brightness slider.
There is also a Photoshop action file, available for download here, which contains a lot of common actions, including one for brightening, for ease of use đ

@BuckledFrame2187, best to have the original sources, and in a pack.

@gonzalofdez78, a couple of things to keep in mind please. I'll fix these myself, but I will reject any which don't take the below into consideration.
a) we want the player's face to fill the canvas for the 250px cutout, which would mean cropping the image along these red lines:
At the same time, we want all cuts to include a little bit of collar. Since in some sources like this one, the person in the image may have a longer neck than usual, this would be quite difficult to achieve naturally.
Here's a video of the process on how to nudge the collar upwards:
b) when you have a lot of images to upload, then you should upload them as a pack instead of individually and save the both of us some time.
You can also upload up to 50 images per pack instead of just a maximum of 3 when done individually.

@Bruno Afonso GuimarĂŁes, there are some things we look for in our cuts, as per the guidelines. This thread contains guidelines for what we're looking for in our cuts in terms of dimensions, snow, collars, face orientation etc. and video tutorials for each element:
a) we want the player's face to fill the canvas for the 250px cutout, which would mean cropping the image along these red lines:
At the same time, we want all cuts to include a little bit of collar. Since in some sources like this one, the person in the image may have a longer neck than usual, this would be quite difficult to achieve naturally.

b) this cut had snow and was not cut too smoothly. If you want to give it another go yourself, I would recommend using remove.bg, which is a free online tool which removes the background to an excellent standard, for free and almost instantly.
Here's a couple of videos on how to use it, one when combined with Photoshop and another using photopea.com, which is a free online app so close to Photoshop that it has the same shortcuts, layout and icons. If you don't have Photoshop, photopea.com is the tool I would recommend to use to tweak the draft cut produced by remove.bg. It's more powerful and versatile than GIMP and other similar tools.

Apply the workaround, as per the thread title.
I appreciate these, but, in my experience, I'm pretty sure that it'll confuse more people than it'll help. People already have enough difficulty applying what are essentially simple instructions which have been the same for many years, so I dread to think how something like this could be mis-appliedâŠ
Both of you: Please provide screenshots of the issue in-game, and screenshots of all the folders that the fix was installed in. In the screenshots, please make sure the full path is clearly visible.
Thanks to all for these heads-up - these will be sorted out in an upcoming update đ
What are you talking about? That file certainly includes hashtags đ
It's included in v4.2 of this fix đ
Yes, it does. But you've not given any information either on what the issue is or what exactly it is that you've done, so my ability to help is somewhat limited đ
I'm not going to touch that particular folder for this fix because it contains the game database, and it could potentially cause issues if people install the fix wrongly.
This is an intentional addition by SI, as per this post on their official forums. Doesn't seem like there's anything which can be done about this so far, unfortunately.
You haven't installed the fix right then. Read the installation instructions and make sure to delete the existing dbc, edt and lnc folders, and not overwrite them.
This fix works just fine if installed properly. The only issue is that iconfaces don't show on national squad pages, but that's due to an intentional change that SI made and which can't be fixed via this download.

@Maximin Sousa, if you insist on uploading more images, the least you could do is follow the guidelines. If they're not clear to you, or you're not sure what they mean, please ask before you keep uploading images which are going to get rejected.

Delete anything you have, and download the complete 2026.05 pack, and you'll be fine.
Please provide screenshots of your faces folder, showing clearly the full path itâs located in as well as how many images are in that folder.
Read this thread.
Yes, if installed correctly.

@P174, don't leave any more than 2-3 pixels of empty space above people's heads and beneath their chin. I'll fix this, but you've been here long enough to know these guidelines now, so please make sure to keep them in mind from now on.

@N Mark, this is not a bad source, but the person has had a cut produced quite recently in which he looks quite similar. In line with forum guidelines, we don't allow requests like this in order to make sure our cutters prioritise their work on images which are more necessary.

@muffincats, it makes little sense to replace a 250x250 cut with one in 180x180. Moreover, we want all cuts to include a little bit of collar. Since in some sources like this one, the person in the image may have a longer neck than usual, this would be quite difficult to achieve naturally.
Here's a video of the process on how to nudge the collar upwards:
